Horrible judge. Protects the bar and the judiciary at all cost. Inconsistent rulings where he closes his eyes on CRC violations, late filings, etc. Disgrace to the judicial systems to have judges like him.

Total dumb. Avoid. 170.6.

He’s a fair judge who knows the law. His tentative rulings are comprehensive. He clearly reads the moving, opposition and reply papers. He also listens to argument. His court staff are also helpful and jovial.

Looks and acts like he just graduated from Middle School. Not qualified to run a courtroom. Just horrible. Avoid at all cost. If you want your case to get all mucked upstay. Otherwise flee!

Terrible judge because this is what the task is. He applied for the job and now it's for real!! Use the brain and decipher cases or simply resign- which in this case would be the best decision. I don't think that he really knows what to do once he puts that black robe on. He appears totally confused and fumbles and mumbles the words. It's as though he is silently screaming "someone please help me." It's pathetic. I see litigants avoiding this courtroom. So new but so very bad. Poor Stanley Mosk is getting one worse judge after the after.

This Judge has taken over for Judge Ongkeko at Stanley Mosk temporarily. This Judge has a lot to learn and I would highly recommend that you 170.6 without a 2nd thought. He does not read papers and is not prepared. He is taking his job too lightly and should be reprimanded by some higher authority who handles non performing and terribly confused Judges. What is happening to Stanley Mosk Courthouse? Where have all the decent Judges gone? This Judge is an embarrassment to the judicial system or whatever is left to remain.

Denying sanctions on a motion to compel where the responding party didn't answer is ridiculous. Terrible judge!
