Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA2711
Rating:2.2
Comments:
Judge Hunter just retired. I had him in a civil case just before he retired and I was NOT impressed. He didn't seem to have much control over the case, hearings were interminable, and he was hardly "world class". There's little point commenting, though, since he's gone.

Litigant

Comment #: CA2347
Rating:Not Rated
Comments:
Judge Hunter discriminates as to the rights of the plaintiff and rights of the Attorney. RG07315751 denied litigant rights over attorney error for years.
Open to filings and certified copies, negates evidence documents in favor of client attorney's faults.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA1789
Rating:10.0
Comments:
I tried and lost a 2 month personal injury jury trial in his court in 2007. He was scrupulously fair, listened, and was very knowledgeable on procedure and evidence.

Judge Hunter is one of the 3 or 4 truly world class judges I've been in front of over the last 31 years (and 25-30 jury trials).

An extraordinary judge by any measure.

If they were all like Judge Hunter lawyers would have nothing to complain about.
