Comment #: CA5899
Rating:1.0
Comments:
Shows bias in favor of older people and those who are financially well off (as in have the more expensive attorney) even if they have an illegal income, seems to listen at first, then does not let you present all of your evidence as guaranteed by the US Constitution Bill of Rights before he renders a judgment that shows that he did not listen. Definitely not an impartial judge. I could never ever vote for a man like this in good conscience. Ever.

Litigant

Comment #: CA2546
Rating:1.0
Comments:
He shows an incredible amount of bias during civil and criminal jury selection. In criminal jury trials, he favors the prosecution in the following ways: he will "rehabilitate" hostile and openly biased potential jurors, allow people in the jury box to say very prejudicial comments against defendants during voir dire, refuses to take juror misconduct seriously - both when parties act inappropriately with jurors, and when jurors act inappropriately, indeed quite egregiously, with each other and parties. He also fails to disclose his relationship to parties, attorneys, potential jurors. Judge Watson regularly waives defendants' rights (i.e. speedy trial) without their knowledge or consent. He has also ordered bltatntly unconstitutional conditions of OR release for criminal defendants.
