Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA48698
Rating:8.4
Comments:
Thoughtful, engaged, reasoned, & experienced. He shows a little deference to counsel from bigger firms in the court room - but that does not play out in his decisions. He does work to get trials set and sometimes earlier than attorneys like. He has had good staff as well.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA27061
Rating:8.1
Comments:
I think Judge Freccero is a very good judge: willing to listen and even will change his mind based on argument The only beef I might have is that he is too patient and tolerant of nonsense, tangential discussions, etc. Between that and his very slow, deliberate speaking style, sitting through a calendar call can be excruciatingly slow.

Litigant

Comment #: CA24469
Rating:9.0
Comments:
I found him to be very knowledgeable about the law and fair. He was very authoritative but kind. He acted as if he seemed to care very much about the parties being given an opportunity to resolve their issues in the most beneficial way for both parties. He took his time to resolve the case. He is the kind of judge democracy needs.
