I have had several cases in front of Judge Henson while sitting in probate. She is very even-handed and fair while also applying the law to remedy wrongs. She is pleasant to work with and respectful to everyone. She also works with counsel and parties while on the bench to help settlement discussions and gives the parties time to work out their differences and agreements. I highly recommend Judge Henson.

PERFECT. There are SO many BAD/ unjust/ biased/ misogynist/ I-couldn't-care-less judges at the Lamoreaux Justice Center that Judge Henson shows what CAN be done. Judges have our LIVES in their hands. This very serious problem with your judges MUST be addressed in the least possible delay. Check YELP Lamoreaux Justice Center. This is an official GOVERNMENT OF CA site. See what the responses are. Shocking. Outrageous. The US is SUPPOSED to be a DEMOCRATIC country "with freedom and JUSTICE" for all . . . white MEN WITH MONEY. Judge Nathan Vu,alas having replaced Carol Henson, is all of the above and more. He even commits PERJURY. He 'suggests' Trial (the case has dragged on for only SEVENTEEN YEARS), knowing that since he reduced my alimony, I have no money for a trial. If he had EVER read anything I've sent him EIGHT TIMES, he would see that he left me short $1,200/ month. I couldn't pay my electricity bills or car insurance for 13 months. I'm the litigant, the VICTIM in this divorce. Vu rendered me DESTITUTE. RIAL ? With Vu, I feel like the central character in Franz KAFKA'S THE TRIAL, guilty for sure, but of WHAT ? I've had 'only' 5 judges on this case,so I'm not qualified to judge,but it seems that all too often, litigants are Guilty before being proven innocent. Why clog Courts when the Judgement has already been rendered ? Have all judges READ the California Benchguide for Juges With Self-representing Litigants. Then a final exam on that (only 280 points, so quickly done). 90% is the lowest accep

That Carol Henson is the sort of judge we all need is proven by the fact that she was transferred almost immediately to Domestic Violence, where people's needs are URGENT and need emergency help in life-threatening situations.
Time for Lamoreaux Justice (INjustice) Center to take a thorough look into this problem, and sort it out FAST. Kick Judges like Honer and Vu off the Bench. There MUST be some way to ascertain that a judge you are considering putting on the Bench WILL settle cases JUSTLY and SPEEDILY. SITUATION VERY URGENT. 17 YEARS in my case ? Outrageous. And then I'm criticised for that. Oh my GOD.
I add that Judge Carol Henson did nothing as regards my case. We spoke only once for 5 minutes. We agreed on a Continuance as she begain by apologising. She had an urgent conference in 5 minutes. Given the amount of my documents, we agreed--and so did the Respondent--to set a new date, and Judge Henson was transferred to DV before the day arrived. On what basis do I feel that she is what all judges should be ? The verry brief conversation we had. I looked up on The Robing Room before we spoke. She is pro-feminist (that doesn't mean she's a man hater). 99.9% of victims in divorce are WOMEN. Judge Henson cares only that the victims and underdogs get JUSTICE. Pleeas do whatever is necessary to have that be the case for everyone. There IS a solution.

Jurist ignores evidence presented for defendant & gives total credibility to woman's narrative.
You won't get a fair hearing from this judge. had 3 hrgs with her, & she bent over backwards to find for Pt, but couldn't do so after Pt blew her case & failed to apear/re-appear to prosecute. Kept me waiting for hours, just in case Pt might show back up until I protested this delay. Will move to recuse if I ever see her again

Dismisses factual evidence. Accepts falsified documents. Makes decisions on female demeanor, state of mind, emotion. Favors female dv claims on their word only. Men will not be heard equally. A very biased judge.

Pro mother. Makes judgement on no evidence and deamenor alone. Judge Henson completely stripped me of my parenting rights and my second amendment. Based on testimony and heresay with no evidence. Based her decision on interpretation of demeanor. I sat in on another case she was hearing and she did the same within 40 minutes.
She acts caring but while she’s stripping male litigants of their parental rights and completely believing female litigants.

She actually cares. I have yet to be heard by her, She is our assigned judge but we've been given to an overflow attorney only so far. I've seen her make judgments on sever cases while waiting in her courtroom. She gives me hope!
