Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA1077
Rating:3.3
Comments:
Strange pick for the appellate court: In trial court, she didn't typically read papers carefully. Unusual demeanor. Certainly tries to do the right thing, but it takes awhile to get there. Had a tendency at long hearings to get bored all of a sudden, and then stop argument. So she might give one side an hour to ramble on, then the other 5 minutes, and actually get testy to the second side if they wanted to go 6 minutes. An uncomfortable court to be in, because something wacky may happen. She thinks she's very smart and an experienced trial lawyer--I know that because she would keep saying that all the time.
