Judge Chidsey is rude to all parties almost all of the time. He occasionally makes a courageous legal ruling benefitting the defense but even when he does this the decision seems poorly reasoned. He is completely inflexible on scheduling and cannot be dissuaded by anyone from making serious errors even on serious felony cases. Recently the district attorney's office and the public defender's office papered him on all preliminary hearings after which he was transferred to small claims where he now tortures the public.

Arrogant, rude and clueless. Thinks he's the most efficient judge while being one of the least. Overbearing to all litigants and his peers. Well read on the law, yet continually misinterprets even the most clear-cut opinions.

Chidsey is obsessed with himself. He is openly rude to attorneys from either side. He fancies himself a legal genius, but is widely regarded as a buffoon. He is not respected by his fellow bench officer or the attorneys forced to be in his court. He is not biased either way. He will make bad calls for both sides.
