I found this Judge to be very compassionate and respectful. My experience in his court room was an interesting and positive experience.

I served as a potential juror this week, waiting to be seated on a murder trial in Hon. Clarke's courtroom.
Although I was eventually dismissed, the two days I spent there I was able to observe the way Judge Clarke conducted business. I must say that I was mightily impressed with him and how he controlled the courtroom. I appreciated the thoughtful questions he asked us and the general way he conducted himself. I would be honored to serve on a jury in his courtroom anytime.

Comment #: CA7358
I served in his courtroom as a potential juror. Very long winded, verbose, and seemed to belabor minutia.

This Judge prevented me from making arguments (as was my job- to argue a motion) and attacked and insulted me personally. He was condescending and offensive; I left the courtroom wondering if he would've treated me differently if I were 1) white; 2) female; 3) older. My faith in and respect for Judges declined after meeting him and I will NEVER have any contact with him as a human being in any capacity again.

Judge Clarke is sharp. He tolerates no disagreement with his rulings. He conducts a nice voir dire. However, he goes on and on. He wants to be the star of the show. He is very highhanded. He makes comments favoring the police and denigrating defendants. He has all the makings of a real prima donna.
