Mr. Herscovitz has an abuse of power. He does not abide by the law but sees instead to abuse the law by implementing his own sense of justice by looking only at the face value of a defendant. Mr. Herscovitz should not be re-elected in 2021 but instead needs to be reviewed by his superiors for abuse of power, and surely he will be removed from the bench after a few weeks of seeing his injustice to the county of LA and his bias behavior that has no place in our already hurt judicial system. Mr. Herscovitz is a big part of the problem. Ask around and his reputation with his peers will say he does abuse his power unfairly. The residents of Los Angeles County should not be continued victims of Mr. Herscovitz's abuse of power and justice. Mr. Herscovitz is a tyrant Judge who has reshaped his role to be above the law as a judicial officer in Dept R at Van Nuys.
