Civil Litigation - Private

knew the issues; read the papers (a rarity in some courts); very fair. Far better than some timer servers who make no effort to get on top of the issues. Her instincts are also good: she wants to be fair.

Worst judge in CCW. Not very bright.

How can I become part of the Adam Press class action lawsuit against D.S. Waters of America?

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: CA4429
She is way too focused on the details of rules and not the substantive issues. In my opinion, she is very defense-oriented.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA4209
This judge's fact-finding on a crucial issue on impeached and fabricated testimony was unjustified and without valid basis. The case turned on this obviously flawed view of a register of payments prepared at request of counsel prior to deposition but purported to be a record of payments over a 4-year period preceding the deposition.

Comment #: CA3778
Disrespectful to attorneys in her courtroom.

Superb jurist in all ways. I handle high profile clients as well a average Joe types---they all get the same fair tyreatment.

Judge Johnson is extraordinarily fair. When I have lost in her courtroom, I have always known exactly why I have lost, and have never felt as if she was results-oriented. She is everything a judge should be. I only wish there were one-thousand Judge Johnsons on the bench.

She reads the papers and makes good decisions. She's not a bully and her staff reflects the judge's businesslike demeanor. We lost her when she moved to CCW. She's a good judge.

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: CA1078
A very linear thinker, a step-by-step, very rational approach to problem resolution. Courteous but insistent and perceptive in questioning. Very easygoing, a comfortable courtroom. I've won and lost there, but never felt I did not get a full hearing.
