Civil Litigation - Govt.

Comment #: CA18982
He is a former appellate judge for the limited jurisdiction and probably that is why he follows the law and weighs equities only when the law can be interpreted either way. Very good temperament and doesn’t disrespect attorneys like some of his peers tend to do.

Extraordinarily fair judge. Follows the law always yet is empathetic when dealing with the public. He is patient with the public almost to a fault and never allows anyone to feel that a ruling is not well reasoned. Take pains to research and will not make knee jerk rulings.
He should be elevated to the Appellate Court or the Supremes.

Just about the most perfect judicial temperament you could ask for. If every other judge had his ability, humility, knowledge, sincerity, even handedness and lack of bias, the courts would be a much better place.

90% of the judges at Stanley Mosk are lazy and cruel. This guy isn't any different than the rest of the bums. Now that you are lawyers, having fun. Too bad you can't change your professions because I am certain you all would. Too many lawyers in Calif. and it's pretty ruff out there making a buck.

He is uninterested and lazy, and has no accountability. Let the guy go and fund the ADR program with his salary!

He made an error and sided with defense, even when it was pointed out to him that this was not right. Someone needs to fix this. I'll have to appeal.
