The decision of the Appeals Division is hazard toward a fair republic. The defendant violated due process and intentional disregard for the law. That is this case. This is honest. Read the complaint and briefs you will see the blatant error of application of law from Songjay. Songjay cannot handle complaints because of personal reasons and dishonest. How Songjay caused the problem in court being stuck and too petty to stay away from bias. Songjay's opinion is dishonest and wrong.

This bench officer (BO) is on the appellate panel of the superior court. That means, if you have a misdemeanor appeal, this BO gets to slap away your appeal, which he will. This conduct means that the prosecutors get the interpretations of the law most favorable to them. This is a person to watch closely if you believe in civil rights because the BOs on the misdemeanor appellate branch are probably hoping to get nominated to the California Court of Appeals. This BO is not in tune with the values of the average Californian.

Poor scholarship, demonstrates the vestiges of bias from his days as a US Attorney. Not very bright, although fancies himself as such.

Thinks being a judge is a popularity contest. Tries to befriend other judges so they will donate to his re-election campaign. His track record for judges that feed his narcissitic, insecure need for approval is amazing as compared to those other judges that won't endorse him. Run the numbers...

It's too bad Judge Jay uses his popularity to support his "followers aka judges who help his reelection" and not the people of Los Angeles.
