Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:10.0
Comments:
Great temperament, a judge who is in charge of the courtroom and takes the time necessary to rule on complex issues. Outstanding clerk. Would not hesitate to try a case in front of him again.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA26675
Rating:2.6
Comments:
Friendly demeanor but nightmare in practice. Frankly, he's had symptoms of dementia for years. Easily confused. Forgets his prior day's rulings and changes them. Wastes jury time, then blames the lawyers. Overturns verdicts. I've seen several mistrials in his courtroom caused by his own confusion. He may be a "gentleman," but justice dies in his courtroom.

The ultimate gentleman and someone who will work as hard as the trial attorneys before him. He is bright, prepared and always open minded.
He also has a terrific clerk who is one of the few that understands that the court is intended to serve the public and counsel who advocate for those members of the public.
I have been before him multiple times and would not hesitate to return.

Bright and hardworking. Always attempts to accommodate counsel. A very "user friendly" courtroom with good staff.
