Paper this judge. Literally the worst judge before whom I've appeared in Los Angeles County. Mautino is an anti-defendant troll, who doesn't understand that juveniles should not be held to the adult standard of culpability. Besides that he's a "hanging judge" who appears to consider his job maximizing the amount of custody time for the juveniles who have the misfortune to have their cases assigned to his court. If at all given the opportunity, defense attorneys should file a peremptory challenge against this monster.

Has been papered for years, but continues in assignment in Los Padrinos juvenile. Works an hour or two a day. Multiple writs granted against him--doesn't care. Detains kids without hearings, and for Rhineheart scam trials if defense refuses to waive time.
