Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Completely lacks the ability to be fair. An appalling example of what the " justice system" represents!

This is a horrible hanging judge. He makes it obvious that he sides with the prosecution and nearly never takes officer recomendations for probation and tends to sentence psuedo-offendors to maximum jail time. Talk about a debt to society... This guy is a walking one!

By far the worst judge, at least as far as decision making is concerned. His rulings make no sense. I monitored his courtroom as part of a civil-criminal case study and have canvassed for a opinion. He's very cold and dry and likes to show up as a tough sentencer. But he's not fair and that is the difference. Stay clear of him.

Absolutely pitiful. This judge singlehandedly convicted me, an attorney, of tax evasion, with no evidence of a tax debt, as the law requires. The state of California actually owed me a refund! Also, he made tax evasion (filing late return, not failure to report income) into money laundering, instructing the jury that one can use clean (untainted) money to
commit a later offense of omission! A four-year-old can figure out that this makes no sense. With no priors, a clean state bar record, and plenty of mitigating circumstances, he sent me to prison for more than seven years! As of September, 2008, my appeal is still pending, while I sit, ready to fight to get my license back. Take a client to his courtroom for one reason - to stuff a deal down the client's throat. He needs a few censorships and reversals to bring him down a notch or two. He's immensely racist. He sentenced the real culprit in my case to twelve years after 35 felony convictions and I got nearly eight years for six "wobblers." Years ago
this judge was accused of racism against blacks. So, in my case, he plays the reverse race card by giving me the toughest sentence, since I'm white.
