Judge Rosenfield was gracious enough to review and then approve my petition for name change promptly. It saved everyone there some time as the more complex cases were heard after. Doors opened at 8:30 sharp, Hon. Judge and staff are all business.

Likes to hear himself talk. If he gets upset, he will give a long meandering lecture to the attorneys. I've been to his court 5-6 times and I've heard the lecture each time. He complains about how long the calendar takes but his lectures account for at least half the time.

Judge Rosenfeld treated everyone in his courtroom with respect. He was always thorough and fair, showed an understanding of the difficulties defendants might face in meeting their obligations and yet held them to it. He sees defendants as individuals and does not "prejudge" them. I respect Judge Rosenfeld.

I was teated with human rights in the court room. I was able to see I had a criinal firm running my case which was there to destroy my case and take my money. Today many firms are PREDIATORY. Law now has enormous amounts of prediatory firms. The Judge I believe I many have survived because he foundation is based in being thoughtful...S in his name stands for Sigmund ..so he tends to try and think about the people and the events. When they changed the courts I was thrown in the lions den. BankCrimes.com will be my testistomeny to the fact some robs need to be removed.

Occasionally somewhat time-consuming with his stories and explanations to the jury, but he is extremely conscientious. He has the ability to decide each issue afresh on its own merits, being informed by his prior experience but not bound by it. In our case, he quite cheerfully reversed himself when shown applicable case authority. He likes lawyers in general and tries not to make their job in the courtroom more difficult than it already is.

Good courtroom demeanor contributes to easing tension between counsel and litigants.

Judge Rosenfeld has a good demeanor, keeping things sufficiently formal while being glib at the same time. He what he lacks in intellect he makes up for in willingness to work. He is one of the few judges I know who has been willing to reconsider and reverse himself in order to make the correct decision.
