Her rulings have no rhyme or reason. Sat in on several days in her court. She favors fathers and talks down to mothers. She has no clue about and disregards the Judicial councils' recommendations regarding domestic violence and custody cases. Would be interested in any proceedings to get her off the bench. She should not be handling the lives of children.

This judge is ruining families one case at a time. She goes not prepare or read declarations. She doesn’t consider evidence. She doesn’t listen to professionals testimony. She finds every reason to keep children away from fathers. Her rulings make zero sense. She facilitates parental alienation and the emotional abuse of the minors that she swore an oath to protect. [Redacted by Ed.] Watching her preside over cases literally turns my stomach. What a disappointment to the legal system. I truly believe she should be disbarred and encourage ever person that has suffered under her rule to file complaints against her. Compton hates her and Whittier does also. Maybe when children die due to her ignorance and bias, she will shape up or, better yet, resign. 5 hours a week to a father who was actively present and begged for time with his kids ruins the father-child bond. She is playing to every controlling, manipulative and vindictive mom out there. Truly disheartening.

Her colleague Maria Punte-Porras is 100x a better bench officer than this woman Veronica Sauceda. You can tell Sauceda isn’t happy in her personal life. I was unfortunate to be in front of Sauceda as my judge all throughout my case. The woman has no understanding of what the BEST INTREST of a child is. I don’t even think she has children. She is a danger to children’s emotional and psychological well-being. I lost faith in the family law system under Saucedas rulings. Punte-Porras restored my faith in the family law system in just one hearing. Veronica Sauceda has no place on the bench. She ran for judge, got elected, and is failing children. The sooner she gets off that bench, the better off these children will be.

This is a very dangerous Judge to have seated on the bench in America today. Our very basic rights of due process are at risk based on her biased opinions. She appears at times to listen then states something completely off the topic being addressed. She appears to play favorites with counsel and ignores their obvious errors. She states comments about people’s character she doesn’t get any facts for. She ignores evidence presented and dismisses it if it does not fit her narrative. She is a hot head and doesn't have a clue about what's in the child's best interest or she simply doesn't care.
She speaks to fathers in a child-like manner that sounds like a high school girl with a grudge is talking, instead of a public official giving a legal conclusion.
It is truly an educational experience in the decline of American Justice once you partake in any proceedings with this Judge. Children will continue to suffer everyday while she remains on the bench and these similar practices are in place.

If you are a father, you DO NOT want this judge. If you are a mother, YOU DO. She will NOT follow the law. Instead, she creates her own law while seated at the bench, preying upon the little people who have no prayer to appeal her biased courtroom decisions. She doesn't have a clue what alienation of a child consists of. Putting it more simply: she just doesn't have a clue.

She is an awful Judge who misapplies the law intentionally. She demonstrates favor based on how she feels waking up. There is no consistency. She holds grudges and thinks she is God of the law. The Judicial Counsel need to start with her court and send people to watch the antics of the day! I have never witness such an injustice before. Horrible person with no moral, ethical or legal compass!

This judge is horrible. I feel so sorry for every child that is under this woman’s jurisdiction. She has no idea what she is doing in that seat. Why is a non-profit attorney making decisions about Childrens lives? She has absolutely no clue what is in the overall BEST interest of a child. And it shows in her rulings

This judge is unable to view custody cases from the child's perspective. She runs strictly off of her bias opinion about the parents and does not care about the facts and evidence of the cases unless it fits her agenda. She has a sign in her court room that says “I WANT EVERY GIRL TO KNOW THAT THEIR VOICE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD”. This sign alone should help you understand why she favors spiteful mothers and orders dedicated fathers to be part time dads. She should be removed. She is failing the children of Los Angeles County

Judge Sauceda is not a very nice person and there is much to be desired as far as intelligence goes. In the times I have been before her, she has grossly failed to follow the law. I do believe it is because she is not smart enough, in my humble opinion. The antics that went on in her courtroom and behind closed doors had nothing to do with justice. This Judge wouldn’t be qualified to judge a playground tussle. She is that Incompetent and untrustworthy. If ever a judge needed to step down, she it. Give people of LA County what they deserve- a competent and fair judge.

This judge I horrible, very immature and manipulative. She intentionally misapplies the law and should be removed. The City of Compton is sleeping better at night since she lost her seat. It terrible that more scrutiny is not given to these judges. She is not pro - Latinos and obviously forgot about her past.

This judge is a little loose when it comes to the rules of evidence, which often gives rise to extreme manipulation by attorneys; but in the overall analysis, I have to say that she is quite capable of discerning the overall big picture in spite of all the trickery and misrepresentation flying around the courtroom. So yes; she's a better Judge than most.
