he considers himself above the court rules and ccp amd will refuse to rule to obstruct appeals, and will alter court files to support his orders.Just another criminal lawyer that ignores civil laws. he will be an advocate to circumvent black letter laws to rule for big firm lawyers,

JUDGE TARLE LIKES TO PONTIFICATE FROM THE BENCH AND REPEATEDLY WILL ORALLY ISSUE SUA SPONTE ORDERS ON MATTERS NOT BEFORE HIM LIKE A MONARCHIST. HE WILL TAKR LIBERTIES WIYJ THE RECORD TO BLOCK ANY APPEAL. THIS LITTLE MAN WILL DESTROY YOUR CASE SO BE CAREFUL.

Comments:
This is an outstanding trial judge. He will allow the lawyers to pretty much agree to whatever they want to agree to, and he'll go along with it as long as it is reasonable. Great temperament. He is all business, but that is fine. He is flexible and fair. He expects you to be prepared. Everything that you could ask for in a trial judge. Both plaintiff and defense will be happy with him as a judge.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA3696
Rating:9.3
Comments:
Judge Tarle is an outstanding trial judge with an even temperament, who pays great attention to detail. He does not give visible signs of favoritsm and gives every party a complete opportunity to present their case. If he has a flaw, it is that he suffers frivolous arguments a bit too readily, where another judge might be dismissive of positions that are ridiculous on their face.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA3029
Rating:1.9
Comments:
When he makes up his mind, which happens often and always prior to any appearance, he will never budge, even if proven wrong. Everything is in his "opinion" and apparently, his "opinion" is what the law is! He will often side with one party and will go out of his way to help that party despite, again, what the law is.

Comments:
Judge Tarle is an extremely capable judge, especially at trial, with an efficient and pleasant courtroom and staff. He is excellent on the law, and usually gets it right, but is not unwilling to give revisit and change his own decisions where appropriate. Trying a case before him was one of best experiences in my legal career.
