Civil Litigation - Private

Comments:
I note nobody has reviewed Judge Jensen in almost 8 years, which is probably a testament to his quality. No complaints. I do civil litigation so have never been before him as a judge, but I worked with him when he was a district attorney. I needed his files in a criminal case he was handling, in order for me to prosecute a civil case against the same persons. He didn't just refuse, like most civil servants, but instead just told me to give him a brief, citing authorities, justifying my request under the FIA. What a reasonable solution which covered the interests of all parties concerned

I am a 3rd year law student. I observed Judge Jensen for 3 days during a felony aggravated assault trial.

I found him to be exemplary in his fairness and devotion to making our justice system work. He was dedicated to ensuring the rights of all parties.

Judge Jensen should be the model to which all judges aspire to be like.

I only saw Judge Jensen in action for one day during which jury selection was completed for a case. I was 1 of 90 possible jurors, but my number was never called.

Judge Jensen seemed from this layman's viewpoint to be as perfect and professional as is possible to be. He seemed very nice, very smart, and he treated everybody in the room with kid gloves, even the one juror candidate who was a little, well, strange.

If I was ever a juror, a defendant, or an attorney, I would be happy to have Judge Jensen in charge.
