Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA4537
He is neutral, and will certainly read the papers and consider the evidence. He is a seasoned jurist whom I have appeared before quite a bit. He has a busy calendar, so he can move things along a little, but he will still honor calendar adjustments based on scheduling conflicts.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA3627
Horrible judge who relies in his research attorney's tentative rulings, and doesn't read the moving or opposition papers himself. He comes to the bench ill prepared and doesn't grasp the issues before him, and covers his ignorance with discourtesy and firmness with sticking to the tentative his research attorney drafted.

Civil Litigation - Private

Judge Munoz is always a gentleman and an outstanding trial judge.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA2477
Good at trial but complete poker face; no idea what he's thinking. With pre-trial motions, he doesn't seem to make the hard legal decisions which ensures that you will go to trial. Doesn't sway off of his law and motion tentative rulings.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA1409
Somewhat gruff to counsel at times, but actually a very fair and judicious Judge.

Comment #: CA1399
From a civil litigator perspective, great Judge, reads all the moving, opposition and reply papers and always treats the staff and counsel with courtesy and respect.
