Classic government worker. Hanging out till pension arrives; will find no work as private judge. What happened to her? She used to be good.

She is the only judge I've actually filed a formal complaint against. Two years later, a hearing is moved before her and before I can 170.6 her, she rules on the matter from chambers like a total coward. She is a disgrace to California judiciary, and that takes some doing.

Saw her trial a case against a large Ornage County Company and actually was wearing items and had decorated her desk with items from that company during trial!!! Pretty bad decision. Also showed bias towards that company during penality phase. The defendant was found guilty of numorous laws, and malicious intent, yet she was very pro defendant and issued mininum sanctions, even though proof of large damages were proved. We all laughed and figured that she must be an annual pass holder.

Definitely not the worst judge I've appeared before. I thought she did fine overall. I appeared before her in a UD case. My only qualm about her is that she didn't make a decision on the spot. Instead, she took the matter under submission. I think she was just a little afraid to face the defendant and tell her she had to move. I don't fault her entirely for it, but it was a little annoying to leave with that feeling of uncertainty.

If you have any important issues do not deal with them via Ex Parte! She reads the papers during trials and rules on them regardless of whether or not she understands the legal or factual issues! And you can forget getting an oppertunity to clarify even if it means failure to do so will result in a dismissal w/ predjudice. This is because she is far more concerned about getting rid of her caseload than she is about basic concepts of fairness...forget justice! When presented with documentary proof of witness perjury prompted by unethical counsel, she finds offense at the attorney who acted "unprofessionally" by refusing to accept this behavior as the norm! Frankly, I cannot comprehend how this woman is capable of looking herself in the mirror!

Still cannot figure out which is her first name and which is her last name. This judge can recite the CCP and civil code but does not know how to apply them. She needs some real life experience to deal with the people in her courtoom and the facts in her cases.

She runs a small claims, UD, limited jurisdiction calendar, and should stay there. She is sanction happy for trivial things, including sanctioning without notice. (I think she's unhappy about her calendar load). I argued a writ of attachment in front of her once and she kept yelling at another defense counsel and myself that she was 'personally offended' by our legal arguments. (We eventually won). Not the first time I've seen a judge confuse the personal with the professional.
