Has a bad reputation among Plaintiff's lawyers, but I found him to be a pretty decent trial judge. Be prepared and don't be too verbose. Pay attention to local rules and follow them to a T, and he will stay out of your way and let you try your case.

A cold-hearted conservative with no ability to look beyond his own painfully convoluted obsession with rules and procedure. Little if any interest in what is really going on between the parties in front of him, who is telling the truth, who is lying, or who is taking advantage of who. Perfect example of the old saying "the law is an ass." In this case you should probably amend the saying to "the law is a blind ass."

Runs a very tight courtroom, like a federal judge, reads all briefs, gives all sides equal time, fair, but you better be prepared. Willing to make tough decisions. A very good judge.
