Criminal Defense Lawyer

Presided over my trial. Discovered evidence that the lead detective withheld evidence. Wrote my own Motion to Vacate 1473.6. It went missing for 8 months. Clerks told me it was transferred to Orange County. Somehow was able to track it down in San Diego -- erroneously was not filestamped. I re-filed my original Motion 3 weeks later on July 24, 2018. She retired that same day.

Acts as advocate for prosecution. Makes up mind beforehand. Prejudiced to help prosecution get convictions.

Comment #: CA6649
Judge Wells is kind, however when it comes to her administration of justice under statutory or case law, she falls by the wayside with prejudice.

Comment #: CA6305
I found Judge Wells to be quite polite and intelligent, yet she ignores pertinent case law. She also does not seem to stand behind her decisions. My main issue is that she seems to be highly biased for the prosecution, likely from her years working for both City and District Attorney. In my opinion, she's not really interested in justice and would rather move people through the system. I listened to traffic appeals and a man (who said he was a stunt driver) was still found guilty despite the fact that he only ran the red light to avoid being rear-ended.
