What others have said about Hon. Marta S. Diaz

Comment #: CA7374
Judge Diaz sent juvenile boys to child psychiatrist Dr. William Ayres after she knew the San Mateo Police Department was investigating him for molesting boys in 2002. According to the San Mateo DA, Diaz actively tried to get the police to stop investigating Ayres because she said they were friends and she was sending boys to him. At least one juvenile she sent to Ayres in 2003 has come forward to say he was assaulted. Even worse: for a judicial profile for the San Francisco Daily Journal in 2009 about her association with Ayres, Diaz stated (verbatim)"It's all bullshit." She stated that anyone who complained about her had a "jihad" against her. She was privately sanctioned by the California Commission on Judicial Performance for her remarks. Many, many parents of boys who found themselves in juvenile court have been aghast at her injudicious remarks and her angry chip on her shoulder against boys in particular
