Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: CA34048
Rating:9.8
Comments:
Judge Hill pressed the DA to dismiss a baseless receiving stolen property case. He sidebarred with myself and DA, decided client paid a reasonable dollar amt for a bicycle and that it was not valuable enough to pursue my client. His HON. took initiative and proved himself.

First met him when he was campaigning at the Calle Real Movie Theater passing out flyers. I ran a pre law club at UCSB and invited him to speak. He met with 15 or so students and discussed being an attorney and presented his case for election. He is a very bright guy. Long story short, still has my vote.

Miserable judge and does not apply the law that he took an oath to do. Arrogant and bombastic self-serving judge. 170.6!
