I would give him a 0 if possible. He does not take into consideration any of what the defense has to say, and also has a habit of bringing up prior convictions even when not related at all to the case at hand.

I agree! He should not be a judge, because he doesn't rule according to the law. There are many articles in the Mercury News describing how awful this judge is. Read them!

He should not be a judge because he is not fair; when he offers a plea bargin deal, don't take it because he sucks you in and then sentences the poor person to the maximum or reneges on his plea offer. He tricks the accused into accepting a plea bargain if they don't fight their case and when it's accepted, he sentences to the maximum and levies fines to the maximum ever if the person can't possibly pay. He's a horrible judge & should have stayed a cop!
