It's unfortunate this judge doesn't seem to recognize when a conflict of interest should make him remove himself from the case. During the Detective Abbey case, she had worked for him for a long time, however can he be fair in this case, in the Carrillo case Judge Cordova worked with the victims grandfather as the court interpreter for many years, he should have removed himself again. Instead he choose to cover up and protect the city, vs protecting the public to ensure they had fair trialM

The comments of CA1476 are odd to say the least. This judge is generally regarded to be a "defense" judge, but I've always found him to be very even handed -- a guy who simply calls them as he sees them. BTW, it would be DDAs, not ADAs.

Judge is a nice person. He allows the Prosecutors who he has relationships outside the court to control his abillity to keep order in his court room. He is afraid to hold any ADA accountable, and this makes him unethical

I like this judge. He is open minded. He has granted a few defense motions and
is not afraid of doing so.

Wear a hat. He collects hats. Straw weave, with a small feather, will be well received.
