This Judge has a reputation at Denver Children's Hospital and with the Tiny Tim Center. He simply does not have any education when children suffer from unknown medical conditions. All judges should be appropriately educated and tested for biases. This Judge does not understand children or parents that seek help for unusual medical conditions and as private citizens we should not be punished nor should other court staff turn a blind eye to this judges unusual use of his court room to punish mothers.

Despite there being DNA evidence and a confession, Judge Mulvahill decided that raping me was completely out of character for my rapist, and because of that, he didn't deserve to be given full jail time. He decided work release of 150 days was the best fit for a man who raped and falsely imprisoned me while I was asleep in my own bed. To this judge, my rapist is a good member of society. Judge's like him are the reason women are afraid to speak up. The reason why women will never have a voice in court rooms and why so many rapists will continue to walk free.

This judge had an opportunity to stand up against sex assault but decided that white male privilege is once again more important in the eyes of the law. This judge literally said my wife’s rapist is “a good member of society” despite the fact that he’s also been charged with a DUI since admitted to raping my wife. My wife isn’t the only person to have been assisted by her rapist and this judges decision to grant him work release instead of the sentence requested by the DA shows little hope to anyone else looking for justice from this monster. The judge granted a rapist the very things he took from her: time, comfort and security.

Unwilling to listen to the 3 people who came , expecting to testify. Included uncorroborated quotes from a “ witness” who refused to testify. Rude and obviously had his mind made up. Search for justice ?? A farce and a travesty.

Has no idea of what psychological abuse and terror is. Even though the police have been called 5 times in my case, refused to give me a protection order because he said there was no imminent danger since the police stopped any interactions. He should be required to take a class on abused women. I believe he is a mysoginist and should not be hearing cases involving protective orders for women.

This judge is kind, caring and human. I have seen him treat disabled people with incredible kindness and compassion. He runs his courtroom efficiently, he has a sense of humor--he really cares about the people who appear before him. As he's been on the bench longer he sometimes just seems sick of the people who cannot cooperate in raising their children, etc. I'm not saying I blame him, but putting up with that is part of the job. I hope he's not getting burned out. Overall a great judge.

I am a mother that appeared before this judge. I am a mother that divorced a pathological liar.

This judge gave the pathological liar more custody.

Narcissism tends to be awarded in this judges court room.

This judge also used Munshenhausen by Proxy on me too ridiculously unprofessional and god like behavior in his courtroom.

I will not let your selfishness and need to hurt mothers destroy my child and I hope you return to private practice and get the hell out of the court room

Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy can not be determined in his courtroom nor Is he qualified as a judge to make this determination the JCJD approved his abuse of cannons in the court room someone needs to get the DA and FBI in his courtroom he is using the courtroom to his pleasure because he likes to punish mothers

This judge is completely inappropriate to be on family law cases that involved children with special needs. He determines that mothers have Munchausen syndrome by proxy in the court room and is completely against all rules of the canons - someone needs to stop him before a child is killded

Judge Mulvahill consistently demonstrates a commitment to his profession -- on time; prepared; even-handed; and tries to do the right thing. Colorado sure could use far more judges like Judge Mulvahill!

Judge Mulvahill feels it is appropriate to allow pro se parties to file ex parte motions on routine procedural matters and further feels he is justified in ruling on said motions without the need for any kind of responsive pleadings. Hubris has no place on the bench and it would behoove him to remember that being represented by counsel does not invalidate your right to be heard by the court.
