Honorable and Papryzcki should never be used in the same sentence. Straight Ignorant. Disregards merits in a case based on her own judgement of individuals. Totally should be removed from her position

Comments:
This Magistrate ruined my life. My daughter and I are currently homeless, my credit damaged and my business income completely destroyed as a result of a wrongful eviction. I was brought to court for $186 which consisted of two late fees and renters insurance that I did not owe. The following month after the Demand for Rent was placed on my door, my rent was refused and I was blocked from the Apartment’s payment portal which is illegal. I tried addressing these issues in the Virtual Hearing and was interrupted several times by the Magistrate. We were in court for over 3 hours, where the majority of the time spent was the Magistrate trying to figure out how the $186 came about on the the Apartment’s ledger. I was not given an opportunity to present my evidence and my counter-claim was never heard. The Attorney for the Apartment stated my lease began in July of 2021 which was incorrect. My lease began in July of 2019. I was protected under the CDC Moratorium from being evicted. I applied for The State of Colorado Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) in April of 2021 because my business income was impacted by the pandemic. On September 9, 2021 $7179 was applied to my account which left a credit of $1104 instead of $918 the Apartment was reporting. This is how the $186 came about. I was charged 2 late fees at $75 each that was not corrected and 3 renter’s insurance fees at $12 each. I had renters insurance since my lease began in 2019 which was also in my evidence. I also had a copy of a renewal lease for 2020 in my evidence that I was not given the opportunity to present into evidence as well. This Magistrate was completely biased and was playing the role of an attorney for the Apartment. She did not fairly applied the law. I was brought to court for late fees which is illegal and I did not owe plus the landlord refused my rent before going to court. I was willing to pay my rent that was refused on April 1, 2022. I owed $1210 in rent and utilities of about $90….total $1300. The Magistrate came up with a figure of more than $1800. She was very rude when I tried to ask her to explain this figure. She then ruled against me. This is total injustice and completely destroyed my ability to provide for my children.
