In 17 years of practice she is still the worse judge I am ever in front of. She does not listen to evidence. She is ope ly biased toward women and her friends. She will even threaten clients. She always has a bad attitude with you if not one of her inner circle. I attempt to avoid her as much as possible. I have multiple times had to go back and fix cases where she has made awful decisions which have harmed the kids. It was obvious when she made the decisions but she does it anyway. She appears to hate males of color. I have seen her favor some but only when the woman is of.color. In mixed relationships she shows bias toward the white litigants especially if the male is black.

In my humble opinion Judge Holly Abery-Wetstone wasn't fair in her visitation ruling showing bias in favor of the mother.

she granted an order of protection that was filed for the SOLE PURPOSE of removing a man from his house in order for the wife, who has abandoned her own children, could live there with her new boyfriend. This judge is a shame on the justice system. The 45 yr old husband has ZERO history of abuse.

Horrible family judge who wouldn’t take any facts into account and actually threatened to take the kids (with absolutely zero basis) if I didn’t settle. This is NOT the best interests of the child. She should be off the bench for sure.

Judge Wetstone has contributed greatly to the family court improvement program. By the grace of Judge Bright's action in the best interest of the children, Wetstone was kicked off the family bench and banished to the bowels of juvey in New Britain of all places. Having no brains, no sense of law, no respect for process, a cranky attitude, intellect of a dead fish, Holly has taken all her abusive traits out of family court for good. The appellate and supreme courts are rejoicing in not having to deal with another foul decision from Holly's court of nonsense. A true and fine example of how to clean up family court....flush the stupid and incompetent judges. The only sad part of Holly's departure is all her vendor friends who no longer have a pet judge to guarantee income streams by her order. Many lawyers from her inner circle are feeling lonely, poor and adrift without their pet on the family bench. But the children of the world shall rejoice as they are no longer victims of Holly's trafficking game. Goodbye Holly.....family court is much improved without you!!!

I saw her walk into in the court room angry about something. If a judge can't control their emotions while at work, then take the day off. They have no right subjugating litigants to it.

Abery-Wetstone is the inside player for lawyers to drag out litigation for personal benefit. She presided over an 86 day trial to benefit lawyers who took home over $12M. Any other litigant would be told they are wasting the court's time. This judge has a money trail leading to her private bank account. Suggest someone find it.

Holly is a demented, sick, miserable individual who should have no say in matters of law. She is such a poor judge that she stated from the bench that a mother was being punished by the loss of her own children. In this country we do not punish mothers using their own children. Holly is such an idiot, she should have never been put on the bench. She has since been moved to juvey where her damage to society will be restricted.

This judge has single-handedly ruined my son's bond with me. He has autism and already had issues with bonding with caregivers. I asked the Court for shared parenting and Judge Wetstone reduced my visitation from 10 overnights per month to 4 overnights per month. She ignored expert testimony and evidence that would show that seeing his mother more would be good for him.

I have not been found unfit or abusive.
I have never been homeless or jobless.
I have a clean drug and criminal record.
I am mentally and physically capable of raising my son half the time.

My son's disability was not taken into account when Judge Wetstone made her decision. In fact, she ignored the recommendation of my son's teacher and school psychologist, as well as my son's own GAL.

My ex lied under oath incessantly, told story after story, and had no evidence to back it up. Judge Wetstone believed him simply because it came out of his mouth. My ex said I dropped off my son at 2 AM on several occasions with no evidence to prove this, and Judge Wetstone slammed me in her Memorandum that I don't know how to keep my son on a schedule. A judge should have more professional conduct and weigh evidence.

The only reason I am ranking her a "2" instead of "1" is because she did a good job setting up a holiday schedule. After 3 years of begging my ex to see my son on holidays, that is not happening anymore. Pickup and drop off times are clearly written out.
