One of the worst judges I have ever encountered. A blowhard. Full of himself. Loves hearing himself tell dumb sports stories. Favors lawyers he knows and likes. If he doesn't like you or your client for whatever reason, he will demean and belittle. Doesn't know the law -- surprisingly dumb given his ivy league credentials. But the real problem is that he abuses his power as a judge and doesn't care about the law.

Judge Ross just made a great decision on forced vaccines on DC Government workers. He is ahead of the curve. Ahead of the US Supreme Court. This is the type of leadership, vision, and scholarship I expect from someone with his background.

My last critique of his judge was pretty bad, and he deserved it. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I recently went before him in a real estate case. For the most par during a hearing on a Motion to Dismiss, he performed well. He did seem to yell if participants talked too fast. Case involved a Latina and Vietnamese couple. I understood his concern about the translator, but you don't have to yell. It'so unbecoming especially over Zoom or the telephone. I can't wait for this Covid Hoax to end. If I'm dealing with a bad judge I like to be right in his or her face. In any event, he actually granted my Motion To Dismiss. A lawyer bought a case for breach of contract way beyond the Statute of Limitations. But he didn't dismiss the case w/ prejudice. That's weird. He was also pretty pushy about settlement. Why push for settlement for a case he should have dismissed with prejudice. Very strange, but he did better than the first time I encountered him. Overall, his performance as a judge was much improved.

This judge is careless and heartless how can he be a judge with these types of attitudes??? He suppose to help the community not destroy it. He is getting paid thousands of dollars to sign off on taking my aunts home, car, and retirement funds away from her and won’t let my family take care of her in VA where she was born. Someone please look into this matter review his cases he is apart of the “I care a lot” group where conservators are his partners

This Judge is part of “I Care A lot” group where he assist in stealing elderly homes, cars and retirement funds. He needs to be removed from the bench and stripes of his credentials.

I posted a review of this judge and it seems to have been removed. On what basis? This Judge is arrogant and insensitive. I represented a client under Limited Appearance. After the conclusion of the trial, this Judge forced me to remain on the case. He is not even willing to follow the court's own Administrative Orders for limited appearance. He asked me to file a Motion to withdraw, which was unnecessary because my representation ended at the conclusion of the event/or time period. In this case, at the end of the trial. I filed the Motion and all parties consented to my withdrawal. There was no trial date, no prejudice, and it was not in the interest of justice to force a lawyer to represent someone he did not want to represent. He abused his discretion. When you look at his resume, then compare it to his performance on the bench...the only conclusion you can reach is ...Affirmative Action at the Ivy League.

Postop female transsexual . He referred to me as "Mister" every chance he had. He had me brought forth with the male inmates. Had me scheduled for transport to stay with male inmates. I found his conduct very rude, condescending and was intentionally misgendering me. I was legally female in every way. I couldn't believe a federal judge would act this way. All for a non-violent civil disobedience during Democracy Spring protest. Very unprofessional.

He is biased and don't care others except whom he knows. He sleeps all the time during oral arguments. It looks like he decided ahead of the oral argument to rule against you no matter about your case and what the law is.

Was falling asleep during oral argument. When he knows his stuff, he's un-budge-able. So hope he actually knows his stuff or he'll rule against you no matter what the law is.

He is biased and careless person. He was sleeping during trial. He must be removed from bench immediately not to make further harm to parties. He should go back to law school to study further.

He was short and impatient. Clearly advised the parties that the case was beneath him and he could care less. If that's how he feels and is that disrespectful to parties and lawyers - he should not be on the bench. His salary should be put to another who actually cares about his job.

Comments:
Rude and self-centered -- he wants to be the center of attention in court. He has a tendency to insult individuals in the court, and then look around to see if he has "fan favor." He does not follow the law, but himself. The vice president of a particular management company (Acorns) has alleged that he has passed verdicts in support of individuals he is associated with.

has an impressive pedigree so i expected an impressive courtroom decorum to go with it and was surprised by the way he acted. would fly off the handle at pro se litigants, yelling at them and cutting them off. have some sympathy for gods sake. insults attorneys sometimes by commenting on their attire or word choice. even if he has a point, he shouldnt do that, its unprofessional for a judge to use the courtroom for teaching moments. he definitely leans towards the government in criminal cases and the landlord in LT court.
