Civil Litigation - Private

Comments:
Biased judge. Talks over attorneys and parties. Rude. Unprepared. Poor grasp of basic legal concepts. Very disappointing.

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: DC350
Rating:1.5
Comments:
Your handling of the Trey Radel case is shameful. Consider the duty of care this man has to his constituents, and then consider the judgments handed down to black men for cocaine possession. You have contributed significantly and openly to both discrimination and the sentencing gap between rich and poor, white and black, the privileged and everyone else. Please think seriously upon this.

Comments:
I am a first-year law student. Your decision to give Congressman Trey Radel a slap on the wrist is very disappointing! I wonder what would be your final verdict for a person of color? 20 years to life? (As any prison time is a life sentence!) You are biased! That is disgusting! You need to resign! You are not fair and balanced!

I wonder what sentence this judge would have given a poor or nonwhite defendant from the District Of Columbia for having three to four grams of cocaine in his or her possession? A one-year probation for that amount of cocaine? Almost unheard of, if you're poor and black. Our jails are populated with the poor, black and Hispanic who are lightweight drug purchasers! Maybe Judge Tignor should himself be impeached!

Comments:
This judge is biased in favor of congressmen such as Trey Radel. He should have put him in jail for cocaine.

Comments:
Judge Trignor should be ashamed of himself for kissing Trey Radel's hind-end and giving him a suspended sentence. Do the right thing, Judge Trignor, and resign.
