One of the worst judges I have ever been in front of. I have been practicing 12 years now, and honestly, this is probably the worst probate judge I have ever been in front of. Kangaroo court...

He has no idea what the probate rules are, he is quick to rush to judgment in contested matters, sometimes he will not even let you speak, and he is not smart.

He will accept your motion then ask you why you are wasting the courts time. Sir, YOU accepted my motion! If it was a waste of the courts time, then why did you accept the motion and set a hearing? If you are looking for a narcissistic judge who lacks moral capacity, he’s your guy.

Litigant

Comment #: FL9604
Rating:1.0
Comments:
Extremely rude and dismissive judge that is condescending, in particular to Pro Se litigants, depriving them of their right to be heard. He lacks the professionalism and overall morale to be considered “Honorable”. He exemplifies the corruption and lack of order that Miami-Dade County is well known for. Remember his name in 2025.

Terrible judge. He is in probate now because he lacks the capacity to adjudicate over anything else.

A welcome addition to the bench. Judge Fernandez strives to be even-handed, and by all the results that I've seen reaches that mark.
