when i walked into the court room an it was my turn to talk the judge told me to shut up he already knows the case... i have heard that my daughters mother aunt works at the court house and remains friends with daniel wilensky... I now have not seen my daughter in 2 years.. Plus i had no allegations againist me and she 9 allegations and still never completely finished her plan to receive custody. i think this judge should be forced down off his stand...

Judge Wilensky granted 90,000 in legal fees on a case with $800 damages, was overturned on an abuse of discretion standard by the First DCA - and we ultimately had to pay nearly $40,000 at mediation to avoid letting him mess it up twice and go through appeal again.

November 2012 – VOTE JUDGE WILENSKY OUT!
I know the title says Honorable, but that is not the case. He is supposed to do what is right for the children, but if you are a woman and trying to do what is best, you can forget having things seen your way or ruled in your favor. My ex has violated order after order and has lied, but the judge doesn't care about enforcing anything. I bet if I had violated the order, I would have been fast tracked to the jail. I asked to have my child in the learning portion of daycare all week, but because of her age & my ex is available, he ruled against that and stated it's not rocket science. Early learning does start before VPK!!!! When this case was first presented, he did a 50/50 time sharing even though that is not in the best interest of the child. Judge Wilensky also ordered a custody evaluation. I completed everything, but my ex didn't do anything, and the judge didn't seem to care that the "father" couldn't follow the order & participate in the evaluation for the minor child. Every time we were in his court room, we had to repeat things, because he doesn't listen. He wasn't prepared for any of the times we were in his court room. His lack of preparation and listening makes going to court useless. Judge Wilensky is making a mockery of the family court circuit and needs to be voted off the bench.

It took a 15 minute phone hearing to have primary custody of my children taken away from me, supposedly temporarily, pending the outcome of a DCF allegation my ex brought up against my current wife. The DCF allegation was proven unfounded. Nonetheless, even with an attorney, it took 2 YEARS to get to a custody trial. During hearings and the actual trial he repeatedly asked for the attorneys / witnesses to repeat themselves because he missed statements because he was perusing God-only-knows-what on the computer at his "throne". At one point - and I wish I were making this up - he interrupted testimony so that he could turn off his cell phone which had audibly rang.

At the end of the full-day trial he stated that he was going to review the evidence further and provide a ruling within the next two or three days. SEVEN MONTHS passed until finally he was contacted by both my ex's attorney and my attorney in a joint status hearing asking when a verdict could be expected. He admitted to forgetting about the trial, and "promptly" re-reviewed the written evidence and granted a straight 50/50 split after determining that neither my current wife nor myself were a "threat" to my children. He left my children in limbo and very nearly destroyed my marriage by his sloven irresponsibility.

I would like Dan Wilensky looked into especially on this matter. Please look at appeal case# ID10-5342. As the appeal says the child was born into an intact marriage and the child should be sent back to his legal father and the bio father has no standing and no parental rights! Well the bio father never returned the child! Then the bio father is going to file a motion to intervine! Dan Wilensky said he has a standing to intervine, this would be overriding what the appeals court said! Now the bio father (who has only seen the child 2 times in his life, before my daughter died!)wants Dan Wilensky to transfer the case to PA from FL. This is not right or legal! Dan Wilensky has lost his way as a Judge and needs to be removed! I have no money to appeal again, however I am looking into some help!

Add another family to Judge Wilensky's wall of shame.

He is so "pro-father" that he doesn't take into account ANY of the facts of the case, or the well-being of the children. If something happens to these children, the blood will be on his hands.
Wilensky is certainly not a servant of the people, he is a SELF SERVING !*%!$!&@.
He has banished these children to a life of poverty, neglect, abuse and government assistance.
Very very sad day. I have lost ALL faith in Wilensky and the judicial process, and I will tell my story to anyone who will listen to try to have this man removed from his position as a Judge.
He has ruined enough lives.

When it comes to whether our children are being placed in a safe environment Judge Wilensky does not care to find out. Its all about following the state law. And that state law is the Father has the right to have his child. What happened to the welfare of the child? He is pro father and that is great if the father is has a clean record and is a standing citzen in the community. Closed court hearings not letting the immedicate family set in for the hearing should be on the parties involved wanting them not the servant of the people. Judge Wilensky needs his cases reviewed by another superior that can see that he is not investigating these cases before making his decision. What happens when a child is hurt, dies on his watch and yes, it is his watch being its a court order. I am a disabled veteran's wife and my grandchildren are very important and the welfare of the children should always come first. What is happening in the world when adults come first and our children come last. Believe me I am passing the word to pull the lever to unelect Judge Wilensky.

This judge handed two children from a happy home over to a dead beat dad all based on his opinion AND admitted he was an advocate of fathers rights. How about being an advocate of the better parent??? The one that didn't walk out for years at a time, loved, insured the child had a happy home, well-educated, etc. He completely disregarded the father had a history of child abandonment, drug and alcohol abuse. All recent history and the judge wouldn't even consider. Dad showed up for court and that was enough. He felt the mother was the reason the children were afraid of him--openly shared on the stand. He decided in one hour and now a family will pay a lifetime. If any attorneys read this and know most effective way to report, please share. I would love to stop him from ruining another family.

Judge Wilkensky is notg a fair judge. He is bipartial aagainst women.I have been inside the tcourthouse about five times and he shows favor to to the males. No favors to t he woman. Supreme court needs to reavailate his position. He does allow know how to be fair. \he gave my kids temp 100% custody to a man that has physically and emotionally, mentally abused me.Have neglected the kids and judge wilkensky did not even care.

What a disservice this Judge has done to the citizens of clay county. If you feel as strongly as I do about what was done in your case please file a complaint with the Florida Supreme Court. I am filing my complaint hoping something will be done to stop this Judge from harming another innocent child with his heartless and biased rulings.

Judge Wilensky is pro-fathers rights. That is okay if the father is doing the right thing for the child. I have a 7 y/o in common with a monster. I have dealt with my ex for almost two years. He has come to my home, damaged my property, he and his friends have continuously harassed me and my girlfriend via text and phone calls and threatened to kill us. These are just a FEW things we have gone through. I finally hired an attorney to stop this and have been slapped in the face by Judge Wilensky. We recently went to court and he basically said that my ex has the right to do what ever he wants and I should stop damaging my child. Now the harrassment has become even worse. It is scary to see a court system that allows scumbag fathers such as the one I am dealing with a free ride to do what ever they want and not be held accountable for their actions.

It makes me want to throw up the comment about how it is all about the children. I have had several people in the judicial system review my case and they are horrified with the decisions that this Judge made. People have asked me, why does this Judge hate you so much? I honestly have no idea but he hates my kids too, obviously. He ruling provides no support for my chid that has been abandoned by their bio parent and left it up to me to figure it out on my own. I would have been better off to have stayed married then have gone in front of this horrible Judge. I really hope more investation is done into his domestic cases and that all of the innocent children that he has so messed up get the justice they deserve!

All about the children and that is how all judges should be. Great judge for deciding what would be best for the kids. He has one of the hardest jobs there is and does it very well. I have sat in on many cases and seen the rulings he has made and agree with him about 90% of the time. Once again......its all about the CHILDREN!

This judge is so pro father it makes me ill. He will do anything a biological father wants, regardless of his involvement in his his child's life. Dan Wilensky should be taken off his throne! He should not be allowed to continue to destroy families. If you are a good mother to your child and you happen to go before this judge, please hire the best attorney you can! If you are a father that has abandoned your child, and want to continue to get away with not paying child support or having to contribute to your child's life then this Judge is for you! I hope this awful man retires soon and someone that actually cares about the welfare of children takes his place!

This Judge is a completly biased and non-caring individual. He has no business being a judge! He DOES NOT put a child's best interest first, he puts his own agenda first. I don't know if Dan Wilensky had a horrible childhood growing up but it is if my 3 year old child did something personally to this judge to produce the outcome that we had in court. He absolutely and purposely has ruined part of my child's life. It makes me sick to my stomach what this Judge has done to my family and what he will continue to do to other's.

he is absolutely heartless. He tears a family apart. takes a young boy from the only family he knows and sends him 1000 miles away to live with a family who has only seen him twice in a 5 year time period. HEARTLESS is the only thing I can say.

This Man is so inconsiderate I don't even know how he was even able to be a judge because his judgement is completely HORRIBLE he does nothing but hurt people especially little kids takes them from places they don't even know and puts them with people who shouldn't have them who could careless about them who just want them when it's convienant for them which is so awful!This man is heartless and doesn't care who gets hurt.He is a cruel human being and should not be aloud to judge ANYTHING!!!!!

The fact that this judge separated a little boy from his sister and brother is heartless. Everyone needs to give him an awful rating because his rulings are unfair and not right morally. Who splits a family up like that and can sleep at night? Not cool at all.

This Judge is absolutely heartless, For any person to snatch a very content and stable child from the only home and family they have known their entire life is just RUTHLESS!! With many things taken into consideration before making a life changing decision this Judge considered none!! The last time I checked, before placing a child in the care,custody and or control of another individual criteria must be met.. Unfortunately in this case with Jared a innocent 5 yr old child with 2 other siblings and he being the elder of the 3, was removed with in a 24 hr period and placed with his biological father and Paternal Grandmother. With all due fairness Yes the Bio father should be able to be a part of the childs life but with a transitional period in force. Being he previously chose not to have anything to do with the child and implimented that he didn't want the child. As stated above the child has already been tramatized with the loss of his mother in 2008 and only having the only known family to him to get him through this horrible tragedy, He has been taken from them. reconsideration or reevaluation of this case needs to be considered Immediately procedures were not followed or met according to state guidelines.. Judge Dan F.Wilensky does Not need to be in charge to decide what is in the best interest of a child..
