Rating:1.0
Comments:
Bias for Attorneys, short Tempered with Pro se litigants, Rules against the Law, contradicts her own words and Transcripts prove this. 0 rating.

Litigant

Comment #: FL4895
Rating:3.0
Comments:
BIASED. JA doesn't return emails. Only attorneys can make hearings. Instructs attorney on how to do his job in detail and and proof is on transcript. Hides hearing notice inside of STIPULATION... to trick Defendants into missing hearings. Ignores the civil rights of PRO SE.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL4192
Rating:9.6
Comments:
Judge Cole is an exemplar of a trial judge. She is incredibly prepared, reads motions, performs her own research, understands and follows the law, and is not hesitant to make rulings. She is one of the few circuit court judges who takes the time to write detailed orders on important issues. She is respectful and mindful of the jury at all times as well as their time and perception of the legal system. She is a beacon of professional and civility. Practicing before her is a great experience.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL1559
Rating:5.8
Comments:
I am sorry, but I am in real disagreement with my colleagues. I find Judge Cole to be disagreeable person to try a case with. Tempermental and overbearing, she seems to lack the confidence to permit lawyers to try try their cases. She appears to have a need to always show that she's in control.
I realize that as members of the bar we are supposed to laud our judges with praise, but a little candor, while being politically incorrect, is warranted.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL1324
Rating:9.6
Comments:
Judge Cole is the best judge on the bench currently. She will do her own research and ask questions to find out and rule according to the law. She strives and it shows. She also expects professionalism.

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: FL117
Rating:10.0
Comments:
I came in from out of town on a complex case. Judge Duval has been to the well, and is one of the best judges I've seen.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL56
Rating:8.8
Comments:
She will rule and is smart. She tried civil cases as a lawyer and has a feel for them. She will be fair to both sides and will be firm in dealing with intransigent parties or counsel on either side.
