Twice this "judge" rushed through our hearing without any regards to the actual consequences.

The first time she had to "rush this along" because she got back late from Lunch. Her words..

The second time she told lawyers, prior to the parties entering the room, "I have to get online before 3:00 to get football tickets to a very well know collage. She stated the name. I've withheld it. BTW, It was 2:15.

I know, first hand, of her handling another case in the same manor.

I've lost faith in the court system because of her "shooting from the hip" because of her personal life.

I intend to file a formal complaint.

Because of the "honorable" Judge favley I've barely seen my 3 year old daughter. I moved out of state with my daughter to get away from her drugy abusive father to start fresh with her. I got my own place, enrolled in school part time and was working part time a few nights a week to provide for her. She had clean clothes on her back food in her belly and a roof over her head and toys to play with. She had everything she needed and was loved amd cared for. Well her father still living with his mom in citrus county barely working because he goes from job to Job to job filed for full custody and I (no longer living in citrus county) was order to send her back to her father who was later granted temporary primary custody because i was going to school part time and working part time. I took a leave from school and got a day time job so her reason couldn't be used against me and then she changes why i cant have her to me not having "family support" in the state i lived in which wasn't true. She did not care to listen to anything i had to say during the hearings constantly cutting me off amd my lawyer telling me she "didn't need to hear it" THEN would say things at one hearing and deny saying them at the next!! I quit a high paying job and packed my stuff and moved and moved back to citrus county, we had another hearing the day i arrived and she left it up to my daughters father to make the choice in letting me see our daughter until our final custody hearing in may, ive been back 3 months bow and hes barely let me see her, ive caught him being under the influence of drugs and drinking and driving with her! AND STILL NOTHING IS HAPPENING! She the worst judge possible! Doesn't care about the well being or safety of the child as long as shes (my daughter) stuck in citrus county! Shes completely biased, and i could tell just because i didnt live in CC when this all started (2 1/2 years ago) she didnt care to hear what i had to say, she had already made her decision because her father lived in CC!!! Ive been robbed of time with my (now) 3 year because of falvey and her life has been put around alcohol and drugs!! I tired to recuse her for a new judge but of course she denied it because she wants that money from working this case!!!

Worst experience of my life. I can't believe that this "judge" determines the outcome of my children's lives. This is the justice system? It's a joke! She's a joke.

Falvey is a judge simply due to political connenections and NOT due to any qualifications or capabilities.

Witnessed judge Falvey deny a person's civil rights (blatant violation of both state & national law) and fail to support state law requiring the reporting of child abuse/neglect.

Have observed her display blatant bias and prejudice against several parties and subvert the mandated legal process as favors for personal and political "friends."

In short, Falvey is a poor politian who does not belong on the bench.

Carol Falvey is one of the worst judges that I have ever had dealings with! Not because she approved the change of venue that ex wife has requested, but because her mind was made up before we even attended the hearing. She announced all attendees and then proceeded to approve the transfer of venue without allowing my attorney to speak! Anytime my attorney made any attempt, Judge Falvey interrupted and cut her off. Within 8 minutes the TELEPHONIC Hearing was over. At least 5 minutes of that involved waiting for all attendees to be connected. Another reason I believe this Judge makes her hearings telephonic is because they are not being recorded. How convenient for Judge Falvey. There are many, many reviews referencing this Judge that all state the same issues on different cases. Where is the true justice here? This judge was appointed; not voted in. She should be removed. I am thankful that she made the decision that she did as I am thrilled not to have her as the presiding judge. Judge Falvey is biased and is violating the laws that she vowed to uphold.

This case was a domestic relations case for a long term marriage where permanent alimony was awarded to the female spouse and equitable distribution was given. An attempt to mediate was unsuccessful so this was a contested divorce petitioned by the wife and contested by the husband. The end results were fair and just for both parties.

Judge Falvey is the most unjust judge. Judge Falvey seems to operate her court with little regard for ethics or the law.

One of the most intelligent and respectful Judges in Citrus County. Fair and kind to everyone, even people who act out in Court. Understanding of the emotional difficulty of being a litigant.

I have lost faith in the judicial process because of Judge Falvey, a family court judge in the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Citrus County, Florida. My husband of 18 years left and did not see our children for two years. There were many incidents of his non-involvement our children as well, as I was never informed of where he was living. My youngest daughter (who was 13 at the time) became depressed and ended up in an adult psych ward waiting for transport to an adolescent facility; my husband was informed and did not come to the hospital to be with his child, while myself and a friend stayed all night until she left. My husband has taken my daughter, and while she may decide where she chooses to live we have court ordered 50/50 custody and he at this time is in contempt. I have been threatened by my husband repeatedly that he would kill me and put my body where no one will find it; this is to me a real threat as he is a retired police officer, although from another state. On 9/9/2013 Judge Falvey was made aware of my fears, as he continues to enter my home. I am afraid that, as my children are no longer living with me, Judge Falvey has ordered that he may continue to be in my home, although he has a home of his own. (I was also ordered not to change my locks.) I have other examples of Judge Falvey's very poor decisions, but feel that this is the worst. This decision was made after a young mother and her baby were brutally stabbed multiple times by her boyfriend. Judge Falvey should not be making legal decisions of any kind as this may cost me my life.

Judge Falvey seems to operate her court with little regard for ethics or the law. When appearing as an advocate and as a witness in an action, she dismissed my presence, stating that the procedure in her chambers was a meeting only and not a trial or hearing, yet proceeded to place a litigant under oath, hear arguments on a motion of contempt and then issue court orders regarding the motion. The litigant was without legal representation and requested a continuance several times, only to be denied that right because: "This is only a meeting. You do not need an attorney present for this."

I feel Judge Falvey is unfair and does not put the child's best interest first. She acts as if she is letting parents share a piece of property. These kids are human beings and she should start treating them as such. She will not uphold the laws, she just makes it up as she goes. I hope and pray this women is not given a higher seat. She does not have good judgement. I'm wondering how she has gotten to where she is.

Very nice to both parties. Listens and is kind in explaining why she makes a decision. Took her time and let us go over our time.

Judge Carol Falvey does not take the time to extensively hear a case, or arguments of both parties, presented before her. When introduced with a case where one party does not live within Citrus County it is overly apparent that her rationale does not lie with the child(ren) or family's well-being but only her political agenda within Citrus County. It is evident her political greed outweighs her judicial obligation of fair and thoroughness to the families unfortunately forced to address her.
