This judge is extremely biased. He does not look at the facts of the case and also make sentencing decisions based off his feeling and not what’s on paper and what the person actually score out too. all of his cases needs to be reviewed because he is over sentencing people. A 5 year sentence to a 10 year because he said he didn’t feel that was enough time. That’s not how the law works. Who is he really serving. No compassion , he allowed prosecutors to degrade my brother character but his lawyer was warned that he will be held in contempt of court when he started speaking in the character of the office and his truthfulness as he was caught in a lie multiple times & in his police records he has had incidents like this before he was wasn’t truthful . This judge completely over looked that. He should not be a judge. He still look at cases like he’s a prosecutor instead of the judge. That’s not his place he needs to be removed

he allowed a male who beat a woman to walk, this male has a record a mile long. but he was court ordered not to do certain things. So when he rules on this, a comment will be put. This male thinks laws are written for everyone but him, so violated a court order. Normally there is nothing worse than disobeying a court order , we'll see if he gives him a second pass. teflon type long criminal history and is still in society in Fla !!

This Judge is a worthless POS . All it takes is to make a false claim against someone that they hurt a dog in the past and this judge will treat that person like shit . Even after telling the plaintiff multiple times they have no proof and they have lied multiple times. He should not be allowed to sit as an Honorable judge when in fact he has no honor.

This Judge is bias and he gives you the impression he is listening and understanding but at the end of the legal process you realize, he never did and reached his decision before trial. He is a former Prosecutor very much still a Prosecutor.

I have been in his court room a few times over the last couple years. I find him to be fair and evenhanded. He really seems to care about the people who show him they are trying. And those that he thinks can do better.

I honestly don't understand why the negative ratings; I guess every experience is different. I was on probation and I always did what I needed to do. I also constantly kept in touch with his secretary and also sent him letters about how my situation was progressing and all. Every time I got approved for something, I would send him in writing how grateful I was. He acknowledged all I had done while I attended a hearing for Early Termination of Probation. Days before I went I came here and checked this website... and I promised myself I would come back to post a review. Pat ordered my early termination of probation. He also gave me space during the hearing to see if I had any extra questions or anything to say. He is very pro-family so please keep that in mind. I have nothing negative to say about him. I think he's awesome.

Pat Siracusa was a prosecutor beore becoming a Judge. Therefore, he acts like an extention of the Prosecution. Beware, this guy would imposed laughable sentences on repeat offenders and will imposed his favorite "48 months" sentences to juvenile defendants, even if the State has requested a lot less time. He is not your fair kind of guy and he doesn't have the ability to be impartial. He is unpredictable and he sides with whoever he thinks have the money, power and influence to contribute to his campaign.

He sent my step kids home against their will to their drunken abusive mother while refusing to look at their SWORN testimonies and LIED from the bench and threatened to jail my husband the plaintiff for trying to rescue his kids. He had ex parte communication with the judge in Duvall county to permanently bar my husband from his children. He has not seen his kids for 3 years.

Terrible Judge. Had a motions hearing for emergency spousal support; he allowed my soon to be ex husband and atty to appear "telephonically". I filed the motion pro se and had 30 min. The atty took over and steered the case (instead of the Judge) and then he ruled to send case to another county and never ruled on my motion. My husband is an alcoholic and has caused me much fear and pain over 20 years. The Judge asked if I called the police. When I said no, that was it. People need to realize that you don't wish your spouse to be locked up, hire an atty, spend money you don't have, lose a job, etc. Anyway, he as a judge in family matters, needs to ask the right questions and get to the bottom of cases. I think he is a terrible Judge. I worked for a Judge in D.C. for 13 years, then a Chief Judge and then retired judges, so I have been around good, bad and worst. He, in my opinion, is the worse.

Judge Pat Siracusa symbolizes his Sicilian mafia ancestors very well. He can't administer justice as we know it. This judge is bias and his abuse of power: "evident". Specifically on the January 2014 murder case by Retired police Officer Curtis Reeves who has an active son at the Tampa Police Department in Tampa, FL.

Let's examine some facts:

In 2006 he sought elections to be Circuit Judge of Sixth Judicial Court of Pinellas and Pasco County (the most corrupted in Florida) and won endorsed by the (FOP) Fraternal Order of Police and (PBA) Police Benevolent Associations.

5) On January 2014, a publicized murder took place in a movie theater at my home town of Wesley Chapel where a retired Tampa Police officer by the name of Curtis Reeves Jr murdered a young father over a texting argument inside the Theater and wounded the victim's wife. (Nicole Oulson)

I can go on and on, but I clearly see this Judge Pat Siracusa can't be impartial or apply the law as we know it. The murderous in this case was a retired police officer and public record shows Pat Siracusa's election in 2006 was endorsed by Endorsed by the (FOP) Fraternal Order of Police and (PBA) Police Benevolent Associations.

This bastard will seek reelection in 2016 and hope these comments can bring people to this website to think again to re-elect Cowards like this to hold and administering Justice.

my comment is in regard to this judge's ruling to allow this retired cop and murderer Curtis Reeves, Jr. out on such a low bond amount. This stinking cop KILLED an innocent person INTENTIONALLY and this judge allows this POS out into the public. Of course the criminal has been asked to turn over his weapons and be confined to his residence, going to church, the grocery or going to the doctor. WTF? An innocent person was killed by this POS and now the stinking cop gets to walk. This judge is beyond bad, he's one of the worst.

The first words out of his mouth were: "I'm tired of women having all the rights over children." I have a partial divorce ruled by this judge, and the custody of my youngest child was given to my ex-husband, all the while knowing that this man is abusive mentally and physically, a drug addict, and irresponsible. He denied my 19-year-old the ability to testify in court, and after three years and over $8,000 in legal fees, this is still not over yet. Twenty-eight pages of partial divorce -- what kind of justice is that?

Judge Siracusa, my name is Carlos Hernandez. My son Ricardo has been in your courtroom, and Your Honor signed his release from Land-O-Lakes Detention Center. While he was in that institution, he developed schizophrenia, and he is having a hard time -- he had a few psychotic episodes where he lost control of his actions. He spent ten days in a behavioral center in Wesleyan Chapel, and he is in the Orient Road Jail right now for something he does not remember 100%! I am begging you to please consider his condition and consider his release so that we can complete his psychiatric treatment.

This judge is very pro-father, regardless of whether the father is abusive, on drugs or has prior arrests. I have never had any problems with any of the above. He allowed a man who had a open child abuse report to take a child away from his mother, and actually out of the state! After attending domestic violence meetings, I found out that this judge has a history of doing this repeatedly! How can someone like him have power over innocent children's lives?

No matter the preparation, documentation, laws in place, best interest of the children, this judge simply does what he feels like with regard to family law. At first appeared to be very impartial and fair-I liked how he talked to both parties with respect, but in the end, even a first year law student would have been questioning his actions. I would not recommend anyone going to court on a family law case with this judge on the bench.demeanor was prob better than any judge I had been in front of. However, this judge chose to not sentence an individual after he was found to be in criminal contempt. It blew me and my attorney away. Will not go back to court until he is not on the bench anymore for family law. My friend went through something similar with same judge. Felt the laws were just tossed out the window due to his personal feelings toward defendant.

I am still stunned by Judge Siracusa. At one point he stated to my wife she showed no proof of abuse and he would not be able to grant the protective order! and asked my wife if she was in fear for her life and she said not now ! Then because she claimed after "the women from sunrise" told her to she claimed I commit violence against our dogs. And the Judge took a recess came back in and granted the protective order based on dog violence with no proof! I feel the judge had no proof for this and is in the wrong! I am the only one that showed any proof in the court room but he sided with her over a lie in court that had no proof ! So anyone going before him just claim the other person abused a dog ! You will win !

Judge Siracusa is spot on. He is for the party that needs justice served. He is about the facts and he can see through careless parents or the parent playing bitter games post a divorce. I absolutely am for this judge all the way.

This Judge surprisingly made comments during litigation to the defendant and plaintiff that he does not care for family law or tolertate it because he would rather be doing criminal law. He did not look at all facts provided and instead, made judgemnt based on a crying female rather than the facts at hand. He also made the defendant pay for UNNECESSARY medical expenses incurred by the defendant, which was not part of the marital settlement agreement that states---necessary medical expenses. The expenses were luxury items and not medically necessary. In addition, he did not allow for rebutal or explanantion by the defendant as to the plaintiff's alligations and instead sided with a crying female and made the defendant listen to his scolding, when it was evident that the coparenting issues were due to the plaintiff. There was even proof of the plaintiff's attempted assault, which was not important to the judge. Very unfortunate the judges like this enable the judicial system to be abused by discruntled ex spouses and this just negatively impacts the children and creates a hostile situation for the adults and children involved.

Judge Siracusa was the most arrogant, rude unprofessional person I have ever had the bad luck to meet. He didn't care that my ex had an OPEN CHILD ABUSE case against him for grabbing our child so hard we had to live in a DV Shelter for a week!! I tried to show him the child abuse report, not to mention the 3 DUI's & drug arrest my ex has had in the last 2 years. He allowed the person who abused us for years to take him away & out of the state!! When I asked where he was taking him the ignorant Judge said it wasn't my concern?!! I was called a "drama queen" & if I didn't hand my kid to his abuser "with a smile on my face" I would be put in jail! The staff at the school where he picked up our child said our child cried,screamed NO! , begged a teacher to let him out the back door! She said she had nightmares about it! What a narrow minded uncaring judge to be deciding children's fates! After all that my child was dropped off 4 hrs away in another state by his dad! Ridiculous!! Must be stopped somehow!

Judge Pat Siracusa ignores any law he does not personally like. He is the spitting image of what is wrong with the broken American court system. He attempted to exert the judicial authority over a foreign nation, ignored the response of the respondent challenging jurisdiction, proceeded without the input of the respondent, authorized the abduction of a minor child internationally, attempted to assign the custody of a 17-year old son without so much as inquiring as to what the son might prefer, given that he was deemed old enough by the court that had jurisdiction, for his own future, awarded an excessive divorce settlement to a mentally-insane woman, stipulated that all the Husband's income was part of the marriage while all of the Wife's income was her own and not subject to equitable distribution even though there could be no distribution given that the divorce that became final was the uncontested divorce after 6 months of the initial filing where a divorce is automatically approved without settlement (to be decided by a court WITH JURISDICTION). Pat Siracusa believes his court rules the world and will violate any law he dislikes in order to dominate those dragged into his court. He does not recognize the sovereignty of other nations, international laws or treaties, the implications of insanity (on the part of the Petitioner), the rulings of the Supreme Court (jurisdiction cannot be assumed if it is challenged, it must be proven), and the civil rights of all parties and particularly the children who are of age and legally permitted to make their OWN decision as to the parent with whom they will live. This divorce suit was a fraud and will be thrown out when brought to a superior court for the vindictive blasphemy that it is. If there was a charge of Contempt of Defendant this judge is most certainly guilty and when this is brought to superior court there will be a price to pay.

Originally, I had hope that Judge Siracusa was fair, understanding and could intelligently be counted on to oversee my court hearings in a very ugly parental kidnapping (or as he called it "illegal withholding") of my daughter by my ex-wife. As our case moved forward things begin to change and he started siding with my ex-wife, even with complete knowledge and evidence that she had manipulated, poisoned the innocent mind, coached and twisted my daughter's perception towards me. We were the closest in our father/daughter relationship for 13 years, but at the drop of a dime my daughter all of sudden does not want to spend time with me? What a travesty of justice and I am completely disappointed with this judge and the fact that the Florida judicial system put him in a position to do what he has done to my daughter and to me. She is living with a very unhealthy, mentally unstable and ruthless person (her mother) and this judge did nothing but reward her for her criminal activities. A man has NO rights in Florida and he proved it during this process. Ironically, he is a father of a couple of children himself. Imagine if he were in my shoes. He doesn't imagine that and proved it. He even had the audactity to paint the picture in our final decree that I had anger issues and this was the main cause of the hearing. Hello? Say again? My ex-wife KIDNAPPED my daughter from me and I had JOINT CUSTODY. Get your facts straight and tell the truth, instead of being more concerned about your personal image and how things look. You destroyed a beautiful relationship between a loving father and a loving daughter! He failed to reveal in the final decree that my ex-wife had set out on a malicious campaign to try and smear my good name, falsely told police stories to try and get me in trouble, cost me tens of thousands of needless dollars to protect myself in a court of law where MY RIGHTS were ignored all along. Had this been a man doing this to a woman, he would have been in jail. I will never forget this judge and I hope he lives with what he has done to my daughter, my entire family and myself. He has no idea how he has adversely (and unethically) affected so many lives in our family. Like I told my ex-wife and he at the last hearing... "there is a higher authority that both will answer to one day." My daughter will wise up and come to me one day and despise her mother forever and Judge Siracusa as well. Shame, shame on you and how in the world do people like this judge have authority placed in their hands with trust?

We were worried at first because of J. Syracusa's lack of defense experience. He has been fair, even handed, listens to both sides, and tries his best to make the right decisions. Most of all, he cares and is striving to do the right thing. Can not ask for more than that. If he continues this way, he will be remembered as one of the best in our circuit.
