After decades of practice, I'm out and no longer need hold my tongue. He exemplifies all that's wrong with an elected court system occupied by clock-watchers intent on a State of Florida pension. His arrogant disregard for families' welfare is fulcrumed by an obvious bias towards women - especially attractive ones. It feels wonderful to finally say it out loud.

This disk jockey pretends he understands the law enough to judge other people. He destroyed my family with hypocritical observance of the letter of law without regard for the spirit; sanctimoniousness. He is a practicing member of the Pharisees in Florida's industry of family law.

Incompetent. Could care less about following precedent, canons, or statute.

I finally settled the divorce he purposely set into motion 9 years ago. People should realize the courts receive money from the feds when alimony/childsupport are paid - Florida makes about 5:1 on every dollar their judges rule on. Impartial? Hell no. [redacted]

Besides this, he shares a similar trait with the most disturbing serial killers - like Bundy and that other guy in IL - he looks normal and can be polite; in reality, he's a vicious egoist and not bright enough to earn a living on his own - that's certainly clear. God help those stuck in family courts.

The law is a mystery to this judge. Having had involvement in several stages during divorce proceedings, it was evident his mind was made up at the beginning. Oddly, after FJ, it was discovered he had lived in the same apartment building as the ex-wife (for whom he found and triple-dipped) at the same time she was employed in a legal career - on the same floor, a few doors down. Could it have been coincidence? Regardless, the FJ lingered for almost a year and the only reason he signed it (unaltered as written by the wife's attorney, significantly beyond and not in keeping with his bench ruling) was a nudge from the litigant asking "where is it already?" and the threat of 5DCA's view.

In all, he committed a travesty and ruined a family. Not competent to sit - settle outside at all cost and let him collect his workfare.

Well for what it's worth Mr. LeBlanc back in 2012 granted my motion for early termineation of probation I had already served 5 years in prison for a gun charge and had served 4 years and 8 months on probation without incident and he looked at all the factors and decided that my debt to societee had been paid and he was fair and I really appreciate what he did and all the original charges had happened in 2001 which was 19 years ago and I got off probation in 2012 and here it is twenny twenny and I have not been in trouble since and I'm glad that not so much as he took a chance on me but he looked at the facts and seen that almost 20 years ago what happened was an isolated incident and that I did learn my lesson and I am very grateful that he took all that into consideration and gave me a chance

The law is a mystery to him. His social and political agenda drives his decisions - that's why the Chief Judge required him to hide his FB posts. Check out his wife's though - total liberal trash. He poses with her under the banner of "I support women/Women First". Yeah, THAT's an objective "judge".

What else would one expect from a former criminal attorney incapable of running his own firm and in need of taxpayer funded retirement. He even had to be instructed to turn over his former client's records by the court and had his secretary write the apology letter - it was HIS fault.

A joke. Ruining peoples' lives.

He is the brightest judge I know. He handles all situations with fairness and compassion, while upholding law in all areas. He is in no way lazy, nor does he drag anything out. The only people that do not like him are the people he has prosecuted, whom are guilty.

Horrifically uninformed, lazy, a cog in the system without care for those appearing before him. More qualified to be a free DJ than capable of fulfilling the requirements of a role requiring the administration of justice.

Typical of lawyers that can't cut it in private practice - surrender to the bureaucracy, insulate your incompetence, and secure your retirement without fear of accountability.

An unfortunate robe parading as a jurist. He ignores law, precedent, and equity and rules emotionally.

Looking forward to voting for whatever runs against him in the next election. If you're appearing before him, be certain you perfect the record for the appeal - you'll need it.

Don't confuse his quiet demeanor as an interest in arriving at "justice" - it just means he's dragging things out as long as possible so the attorneys can bill as much as possible.

After completing a significant number of trial days (more than a week), it was clear he'd made his mind up early on, before all evidence was in, and his final ruling was so problematic and ignorant of the facts as to be unenforceable and unintelligible.

The above could not have been assisted by his proclivity to allow continuous interruptions, cross-talk, and lots of direct questions from the bench; the transcripts read like a 50's film noir script.

Not a problem solver and, sadly, everything citizens have come to expect from the voluminous amount of money spent on the courts. In short, awful performance.

Having now rotated off the bench, it's slightly safer to comment on Judge LeBlanc. I handled a divorce proceeding with him that was protracted and complex and should have settled years before being brought before him. The case was driven by the respondent (wife) who had been counseled she could take the petitioner for "millions".

Sadly, the case exhausted the family's money, drove both into debt, and ended poorly for both - because of Judge LeBlanc.

He ignored direct precedent and statute and disregarded testimony as his mind was made up. A sad representation for a system alleged to be in search of "equity".

I'm a real person. One who had a nasty custody divorce in front of Judge Leblanc. It was nasty because my ex-wife is a sociopath. She lied 5 times in front of Mr. Leblanc and he knew it. I'll say one thing though. First, he didn't give me everything I wanted. But second, that he was mostly fair. I say mostly because he rules in ways that will best keep you out of his courtroom in the future. Even if it's not fair (his words paraphrased). For example, my ex was unemployed for the hearing, but had a stable record of making $40k-50k a year. We showed tax returns, pay stubs, all the proof that she has a history of making $40k+. Yet he coddled her, in regards to child support, and asked her if she thought she could make $30k? Of course she was eager to say yes to that number. I was flabbergasted. But he saw how horrible she was with money, and how she couldn't keep a job, so he wanted child support (she pays me) to be low so that he wouldn't have to see her in contempt court later. But alas, jokes on him, because she's currently 6 months behind and now making close to $40k a year again. So we'll be back next month, now to a different judge though. I'll be back to report on her. But Mr. Leblanc did see right through a lot of things in my ex. Her lies. And he ruled in favor of me for majority custody. He gave us a parenting plan that I didn't at first like, but have grown to appreciate. If you're going up in front of him, I'd say one thing. Be prepared to be brief and concise in your points. And expect him to go easy on things you think he should throw the book at. All in all a good judge though. Reminded me a bit of the judge from "my cousin vinnie". Not sure why. LOL.

He did not uphold the Florida state statutes. He said he had to side with the petitioner, and that the respondents request was denied. Then turned around and did exactly what the respondent requested. He even recognized that the respondent would not assist in facilitating a relationship with the child and other parent and then took time away from the petitioner. It was the worst the ruling I have ever heard!
