This judge wont give me a break as a Veteran who has had problems that are now resolved after 7 years. She will not move, budge, or do a thing to help me. I live 2000 miles away, have done over 100 hours of community service, and 3 anger management classes ( they only wanted one ) and completed rehab with 6 years documented sober and she STILL wants me to fly down there and do almost a year in jail for VOP. I moved to California for help because I was homeless and on drugs, but I have received the help I needed from the VA and successfully completed treatment. Its a shame because I cannot get a job with this hanging over me. I want nothing more than to be a tax payer again, judge!!

I have first hand experience of this judge deliberately lying in court and refusing to hear evidence that contradicted a predetermined decision made before trial.

Her abusive and arrogant manner is in sharp contrast to her peers.

Should be summarily dismissed - with as little concern for basic justice as she provides to others.

She is the worst judge I have ever had to deal with. She could care about what the law says even if she knew it. Every case she rules on has an appealable issue.

This judge must've worked for the circus prior to becoming a judge because she is nothing more than a clown. get another judge is she is assigned to your case

Comments:
Horrible demeanor. Judge Ansbro consistently refuses to enter defaults or default judgments as she takes it upon herself to act as an advocate for those that chose not to advocate for themselves.

She is rude to most attorneys as well as lay persons.

Comments:
Judge ansbro's rulings on small claims case 2012-SC-001138-O are confounding! She ruled in favor of a defendant who was in default - did not appear and did not file any timely motions. She dismissed case without any hearing of plaintiffs case. She again dismissed case without hearing the refiling and issued a ruling stating that she had been "fully informed". How is the layman to navigate small claims with judges like Debra Ansbro?
It is only a shame that "1" is the lowest rating. I would give her a zero across the board.

her attitude was quite disappointing, she was rude, insensitive to our attorney and the case and she seemed in a hurry and didnt allow all the information to be presented before issuing a verdict

The absolute worst Judge I have ever encountered. How is this person a judge? She is beyond incompetent. If you get her assigned to your case, move the court for another judge

Comments:
Her courtroom demeanor has often been rude, impatient and generally disagreeable. Will frequently cut off attorneys and make it difficult for them to present argument for their client's position. She is certainly free to deny a motion to supress or a motion for bond - just let the attorney do his or her job on behalf of the client. People need to know that a judge will allow them their day in court and treat them with fairness and courtesy. One does not always get that treatment with Judge Ansbro. She does do a good job with starting court on time.

Not the smartest judge on the bench by a long shot. Not very even-tempered and a little vindictive if you disagree with her initial assessment of the case. Overall, not an impartial arbitrator for either side.

A breath of fresh air on the bench. Is doing very well for a judge that has been on the bench a short time. She is fair and impartial and works hard to make the right deceision.
