Prosecutor

Comment #: FL6731
Rating:9.7
Comments:
I practiced before Judge Gordo years ago as a young prosecutor and credit her for making me a much better courtroom advocate. She stands out as she is exceedingly intelligent, efficient, and hardworking. Her overall style is more consistent with federal judges I have subsequently been in front of. She is respectful and professional to all sides, but also no-nonsense for the most part. She expects attorneys to do their homework, communicate with each other before court, and stay on schedule. The attorney(s) complaining in these other reviews were likely unprepared to be in front of a serious judge.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL6394
Rating:2.6
Comments:
She often fails to appear, requiring a change of schedule and cannot handle basic issues.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL6238
Rating:1.0
Comments:
Very sad that a Judge that has never stepped foot inside Family Court as an attorney is now a Judge making serious decisions over families and most importantly, children. Sadder still is the attitude, arrogance and self-serving comments from a judge on the bench. Once again, the Family Division is the home for an incompetent and disrespectful judiciary.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL6090
Rating:1.0
Comments:
Awful, quite disorganized. Not a wonder she is headed back to family court.

Comments:
She is an asset to the bench. I am a court reporter and she has always been very pleasant and fair.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL5488
Rating:1.5
Comments:
This jurist is rude, impatient and not a good reflection of judicial even handedness. Is known to be occupied on the computer during evidentiary hearings even when the Court is the trier of fact.
