Comments:
Probably the best judge in front of whom I have had the pleasure of practicing. Great demeanor and she really cares and takes the time to give an issue the necessary time to resolve same, properly. She is a credit to the bench.

It will be a great loss when Judge Metzger leaves this assignment. She sincerely cares about her work and has gained great knowledge in this area of the law. She should have been assigned to Juvenile Court for a longer period of time.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL661
Rating:6.8
Comments:
I have only had a few opportunities to litigate in her courtroom. Judge Metzger was a breath of fresh air in Dependency Court from the previous group of do-nothings that seemed to occupy that place in the system. She listens carefully and seem to rule fairly if the evidence is properly presented. She seems to have an even temperament and seems to have a generally good grasp of the law.
