Sadly, this judge does not fulfil her duty to uphold justice. She cannot maintain impartiality and she is fully unable to remain consider all evidence before making a decision. She consistently disregards these principals and undermines the fairness and integrity of the judicial system.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL7349
Rating:1.0
Comments:
Judges are supposed to be unbiased, but Judge Brodie clearly favors certain parties/attorneys over others. She will grant orders ex-parte, and she will not follow case law.

She appeared bored with many of the proceedings.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL5553
Rating:1.0
Comments:
The judge routinely violates 18 usc 242, in so much as she uses the courts of chancery to deny people their 7th amendment rights to a fair trial when that same remedy is available in the criminal law. See Shoenthal v irving trust. She also issues issues prior restraints that violate the first amendment which are not narrowly tailored. See Carroll v princess anne, and new york times v united states. Be sure to be ready in advance for appellate review, as she'll grant the orders in absence of any evidence.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL3424
Rating:1.5
Comments:
This judge reads magazines during trials while experts testify. She has no care for court proceedings and is not prepared for trials. She has no ability or inclination to learn about the cases that come before her or the case law involved. Very poor civil judge.
