An excellent judge. He is fair and even handed. He can smell bull shit a mile away, unfortunately the norm in Miami is to elect "uno de los nuestros" and as a result a lot of attorneys criticize him because he is not "one of them" and does not play by their rules. Peter Adrien is an excellent and fair judge who does not cater to politicians.

This judge has jeorpardized the career of a Venezuelan paralegal whom he wanted to be involved with, but when the paralegal contacted his wife, Kasandra and told her about his intentions he, in retaliation paid more than 3,000 to falsely accused and sent to jail under false allegation such respectful paralegal woman and I the attorney, am going to send to jail this honorable and respectful judge peter adrien. I have a case with you fucking asshole.

I have been in front of Judge Adrien since his assignment to the Civil Division on January 2009. Judge Adrien is an excellent jurist, he thinks quick on his feet. He treats everyone with respect regardless of whether you are from a small, or large law firm. He rules on a case by case basis and he can smell bs miles away.

I don't think Judge Adrian is a scholar but he does have an acute sense of smell. He can sniff stinking balooney in an argument from afar. And that, in a profession where potent scents are constantly manufactured by skilled illusionits is to me more important than all the treatises and cases in Lexis and Westlaw combined. Don't wear cologne or perfume when you appear in front of him. He will catch on to your game.

I disliked appearing in front of this judge and have appeared before him many times. He has a lack of consideration for the mentally ill and very little human sympathy in my opinion. His knowledge of the law is quite lacking. Some judges, it may be said are pro state or pro defense. It is my observation that both prosecutors and defense attorneys agree he is an awful judge. He has the rare quality of unifying both defense attorneys and prosecutors in their low opinion of this judge.

Absolutely the worst judge I have ever seen in my twenty-two years as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney. Won an election against a highly qualified judge, and took the bench with a chip on his shoulder. He has no idea how to be a judge, run a courtroom, or be fair. And I can report that this is the general opinion about this judge throughout the Miami area.

About as qualified to be on the bench as my 5th grader. He has absolutely no idea what he is doing and to make matters worse, he imposes extremely harsh sentences after conviction.(No, he has never done that to one of my clients because he has yet to have the opportunity, but I have seen it happen more than once.) Somebody PLEASE get him to civil court where he can do less damage.
