Comments:
Not surprised to see the comments I see here about this biased and egotistical judge. I have had two court cases with her and have seen her speak disrespectfully to jury members because they could not speak English. She has forgotten what her role is and many have suffered because of her abuse of discretion. There will come the time when she will be replaced with somebody who truly is objective and fair. May God help us all against judges like Hogan Scola.

have a case against the JP Morgan Chase Bank bank right now, I am pro se and the pleitiff. ( 2019 - 04079 - ca 01 (02), I was mistreated by the judge at this hearing (5/21/2019) she did not let me speak or argue my case against the bank, I put a motion to remove her from the case and quickly she denied it without giving arguments.. please read my case, I have 20 days to come back in front of her and I'm afraid her decision is not impartial..

Someone who is so insecure, angry and vindictive it's not fit to be a Judge. Judges should be impartial and fair and She is not.

Judge Hogan Scola is biased in favor of people she knows and pro bank and anti pro se (I have watched her how she mistreats litigants and unfairly rules and then also improperly schedules things on other judges calendars she covers). She is not even handed and does not listen to the law but instead makes up her own interpretation of the law against whoever she has taken a bias before she even hears oral arguments. I have lost many hearings but I do not complain when it is based on even handness of the judge and logical interpretation of law and evidentiary objections. She is NOT objective and makes poor evidentiary rulings and has little patience for the party she already presumes should lose the hearing without even hearing the oral argument and objections. This woman needs to retire and relax so she can stop taking her anger and frustration out on litigants. Also she thinks because she is related to federal judges that somehow that earns her respect - NO!

She is terrible, don’t rule according to law but to her own opinions and attorneys law firms that she has a relationship with and she likes making her own laws and wrongful rulings. This woman it’s not fit to be a judge. I will make sure to make a campaign so this evil person don’t get anymore behind that bench.

Comments:
Very pro-business. Rulings appear to be made off the cuff. She doesn't listen to arguments, she just rules for who she likes. I have walked out of the court room hearing other lawyers mumble in frustration at her rulings. The light bulb is kinda dim. Make's incorrect rulings as she knows most people cannot appeal.

Judge Hogan Scola is an excellent Judge. She is well prepared before hearings and considers arguments carefully, even when she is well versed in the law. She treats all litigants with respect and runs her courtroom efficiently and effectively. She is one of the best judges on the bench in Miami.

Judge Hogan-Scola is a very hard worker - reads everything and listens to arguments, and works after hours and on weekends. Very smart and wise to lawyer shenanigans - stern taskmaster who tolerates no silliness. No ego - will reconsider previous rulings upon elaboration of legitimate facts and law. Best judge I have seen in Miami.
