He is a great asset to Miami-Dade's juvenile court system. As a young prosecutor, he put my feet to the fire during many trials and yelled at me on more than one occasion to "stay in [my] lane" (I probably deserved it.) He almost always treated me with tremendous respect, encouraged civility in his courtroom, and wow - he really, really works hard for the children. I loved seeing the pride in his face when a young person came to visit his courtroom having turned their life around with a second chance. He was also tough when he needed to be, but always with the heart of a wise father. I hope he continues his work for a long time.
