seems to have a problem remembering dueprocess on a continuing basis and the prosecutors assign to his court take advantage of this.

Civil Litigation - Private

Judge Faber is a nice guy. He was at the PD's juvenile division for years as 2nd in command before he took the bench. I knew Robin then having worked there myself. He was a great advocate for the kids. He should have stayed there. His extremely liberal attitude is affecting his ability to be a fair jurist in civil matters. If it involves a corporation, especially an insurance company he will highly lean towards the plaintiff (clinic or individual). What he does not realize (maybe he does) is that he is only lining the pockets of the lawyers on the plaintiff's side.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL1078
My experience with Judge Faber is that he makes an earnest effort to learn the issues before him and to try to reach the right decision. He listens closely to arguments and asks for guidance on issues with which he is not familiar, which is much more than what we get from many of the judges in Dade County. He is respectful of the attorneys and litigants before him, and I believe he has great potential.

Unfortunately, Judge Faber is a really nice guy, but his judicial skills are awful, with no knowledge of the law. How did this guy get elected?

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: FL337
Judge Faber is not very knowledgeable of civil matters and fails with domestic violence issues.
