Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL8227
Rating:9.9
Comments:
I took one point off for temperament because she can be a little testy if she doesn't think people in front of her are competent. But, really, she just expects professional conduct. She works hard and really cares about unrepresented defendants.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL5717
Rating:4.8
Comments:
Judge Lehr is rude and unprofessional when dealing with the litigants, in her conduct towards attorneys and incredibly condescending to her own staff. I have never seen anyone so disrespectful to their people. Her bailiff and JA are both excellent and yet she is condescending and sarcastic. Watching her made me cringe. She speaks in French to her bailiff animatedly in open court with all non french speaking parties unable to ascertain what is being said. She is a bully....Arrogant....and a hot head. Her temper is out of control and she really seems to hate her job. NO IDEA how this woman got elected. There is no minimum decorum observed and quite frankly her lack of professionalism, is astounding. I was a victim of a tirade unlike any I have ever experienced over what she perceived to be a "procedural defect". If she thinks things should have been done differently, all she has to do is say so. No reason to belittle someone and berate them in open court. Particularly because I was nothing but respectful and humble. She stomped on me like a T-Rex and then dared me to cross her. Instead of asking this "procedural defect" be corrected she needlessly dismissed the case, in order to teach me a lesson. HORRIBLE
