This judge routinely rules for the contractor. Judge Maltz recuses himself and Judge Christine is appointed. If you are being sued by the St Augustine roofing company which I will not name, you will lose your case no matter what. The homeowner pays up or loses his home. If you get this judge, you are totally screwed. Check the docket to see the truth. Maybe some day a good attorney general will step in and check it out.

I was forced to enter mediation for a small claim. The result of the mediation was that the defendent never paid what was agreed upon. I filed the paperwork again with the judge and it has gine nowhere in two months. He was upset originally that i didnt agree to lower my claim. Now i guess this is his way of sticking it to me. This guy is bad news.

This Judge is in DEFENSE mode all of the time. Plaintiffs in small claims or evictions cases can forget about getting a fair hearing in front of this one. He only cares about helping the defendant get out of paying what is owed. He cares nothing about the plaintiffs and what is right. He will almost bully a plaintiff into agreeing to lower the amount owed or drop the case altogether. He needs to go back to being an attorney if he wants to DEFEND all of the the defendants!

Judge Christine is very thorough. He considers all sides and then makes decisions. He does not take his job lightly. His drug treatment program is awesome. He is easy to approach t speak to. He is a good upstanding man.

Judge Christine doesn't understand the law, and has an inability to act impartially. I mean, it's either he doesn't understand the law, or does, but makes decisions directly conflicting with well settled controlling statutory and case law simply because he doesn't agree with it. I'm not sure which is worse. Blatantly ignores the clear directive of the law in cut-and-dry cases.
