If there was a zero rating I would have chosen it. Be very careful in her court! I question how she is not biased when she hears 99% of her partners probate cases. She and Mountjoy share interest in real estate in Citrus County. Beware of the Thomas Mountjoy connection.

If you go against her and you are not in the good ol' boy system, you will for sure lose. She stands up for her friends and the good ol' boy system only. The law only works in the movies. If you have a choice on a jury, take it. Take the choice out of her hands. We lost everything because of her.

A fine judge who knows the law and rules without bias or prejudice. One of the best judges in Citrus County!

Judge Thomas's scholarship leaves much to be desired. She has a complete lack of understanding regarding the appellate process, and while as a circuit judge she handles those matters infrequently, she shows zero inclination to educate herself and make sure she's ruling properly. For instance, I was defending an appeal, and the appellant failed to make sure that there was any sort of a record upon which to base their appeal of a ruling issued by a county hearing officer. The appellant was acting pro se, most likely because no attorney would accept him as a client, and filed his initial brief, which failed to conform to the rules of appellate procedure in every way. In my response I noted that no record had been provided and thus the court could not find a basis to overturn the hearing officer's decision. In her order upholding the appeal, Judge Thomas ruled that it was NOT the appellant's burden to make sure that a record was provided and that based upon the lack of a record, she felt that the hearing officer's ruling was faulty. Needless to say I fell out of my chair when I read her opinion and wanted to take her before the Fifth DCA, where she is regularly overturned, but my client decided to let it go. She is beyond incompetent and she needs to retire.

I feel JudgeThomas is corrupt and dishonest, and has worn her robe way way too long. She is in- capable of making a decision on any business issues, and has shown her incompetence many times by telling Myself and the other side that she really has no idea how to make a decision on our case. We did 3 linagations prior to trial and 3 more linagations after a 3 month time frame. She never understood the case, nor took the time to understand it. Court dates would come and go, she continued to approve extensions, time and time again. Never understanding that by doing so, I was loosing my home, I had no income. Anytime we had a linagation, she seemed perplexed as to what was going on. I felt she had way too many cases, has no idea what the heck is going on and could care less of what the case was about. Of course, she ruled in opposition in which we quickly took it the the Appeal Courts. A year later, again, frusterated that it never should have gone this far, only IF she took the time to understand the laws , formulas used in business banking, she lacks a brain! She could care less about the people of Citrus County. Shame on her.

Administrative Judge Patricia V. Thomas obstructed justice, allowed perjury and allowed a violation of our rights to speak in court. She was curt and made injurious comments about me to prosecuting and defending attorneys while in the presence of Dennis Fox and asked him to excuse her comment.

my idea it is wise to speak sweet words one may never know they may have to eat their own words. SHE APOLOGIZED..and just think if people could be honest enough and fair enough amongst themselves to solve problems without spitefulness or greed...,. Then more than time could be saved. Now as for your hasty remark toward The HONORABLE JUDGE,be careful yourself not to spit into the wind.

Awful on all accounts. She made rude comments about one of the litigants and then apologized. Apparently she has worn the robe far too long and has acquired an omnipotent attitude. One pope is far too many!!!!!!!

Smart judge. She is not afraid to deal with problems head on. She is a big proponent of mediation between the parties, but that often produces good results.

She is absolutely incapable of making a decision. If you go before her, she will most likely not listen to you, kick you out of her hearing room, and order the parties to resolve it on their own. She is more a mediator than a judge, and a bad one at that.
