Even though he "retired" I feel it prudent to alert all litigants in Pinellas County that there are some really bad (and good) judges here as I suppose there may be in all counties.

My first experience in Pinellas County resulted in a judge (Bonnie Newton) being not only removed from office but also the reason laws were changed to hold Judges personally financially responsible once held acccountible by the JQC.

While the JQC was not involved this time, I can tell you their rationale would still hold. Donald E. Horrox is not fit to hold public office in any state in any capacity going forward.

This judge belongs in jail not on the bench. He is a liar who thinks because hes a judge in the lowest court his poop doesn't stink. Just another lawyer who couldn't make it as a lawyer, so he becomes a judge. How pathetic

After the worst terrorist attack in history, this judge as a then an attorney defended Sami Al-Arian. What kind of human being would defend a terrorist to turn around and as a Judge be so harsh against minor infractions of the law. Very disturbing individual.

I would like to confirm all of the reports already submitted. There needs to be a new avenue to complain about Judges who place their own opinion above law.

Comments:
He does not follow Florida law. He finds motorists guilty of driving another person's car (not follow the law regarding proof of insurance) EVEN when presented with proof of insurance for both the vehicle and the non-owner/driver. He does not follow the law regarding UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROLS and failed to find non-compliant signs illegal. See WTSP Channel 10 Tampa story line on his "school zone speed traps."

I have witness enough from yet another Judge in Pinellas County that does as he darn well pleases rather than enforce the law. He has total disregard for due process and constitutional rights against police and municipalities that cross the line with traffic related entrapment. His punishments are out of control. He needs to go - enough of punishing citizens when it is local authorities breaking the law.

This is one Judge that gotta go . . . and quite frankly will retire before he runs again. Like Bonnie Newton he has his issues and does not enforce the law. Watch for him to pop up in a news story this fall.

He is ignorant! I never committed a crime in my life and he sentenced me to 30 days in jail and a thousand dollar fine. He allowed the cops to openly lie in his court room and would not allow my attorney to defend me. He is bias and has no ability to judge. He was only elected because nobody knew who the hell he was. He must be removed. He is a danger to the public.

vindictive and contemptable at the people he is elected to serve. He has forgotten that he is a PUBLIC SERVANT . He appears to hold contempt towards the bill of rights and the constitution. He appears to be a neo faciests.

He shows up. That's about it. Doesn't follow the law or previous rulings from the 2nd DCA. Responds with his personal opinions. Apparently does not know what the legal definition of the word "shall" is.
